"What we're up against isn't the Peacekeeping Forces, but... the Federation."
The office fell silent for a moment as those words landed.
Chelsea broke the silence with a soft laugh, gently looping her fair, delicate hand around Jonas's arm.
"I knew you'd never just sit back and wait to die."

The Alt Conglomerate had several powerful Psionics at its disposal. No one understood the destructive power of a high-tier Psionic better than he did.
And this particular Psionic was an exceptionally dangerous assassin. She didn't even need to act. As long as she remained hidden behind their lines, no one would dare make a rash move.
Jonas laid out most of what he knew, explaining it all to Chelsea.
Chelsea sank into thought. The situation was a little simpler than she had imagined, but far more difficult to deal with.
She had originally imagined that the Federation would use its powerful intelligence network and technological advantages to establish absolute control over the acquisition, use, and management of information in District 25, leaving Jonas struggling at every turn.
But Iris, the super hacker working under Jonas, had changed that. The tremendous amplification provided by her level four psionic energy had allowed her to break through the Federation's suppression with ease. She had even struck back, rendering the advantage the Federation took such pride in utterly worthless.
After that, the situation had changed completely. Finding it difficult to suppress them through those means, the Federation had simply sent a high-tier Psionic deep into District 25, forcing them to tread carefully with every subsequent move.
"I don't know exactly how Psionics are classified,
