When Jonas woke again, it was already evening. The soft sensation beneath the back of his head was gone, replaced by a familiar pillow.
A notification popped up at just the right moment. It was a voice message from Chelsea, sent half an hour earlier.
"Something came up at the company, so I headed back first. I thought you were just going to take a quick nap, sleep for a few hours, but I didn't expect you to sleep this long... I still have some things to handle at the company, and your Miss Eiffel happened to arrive, too... Such a shame I didn't get to put this outfit to use today. Of course, if you want to once you're awake, you can come straight to me."
Chelsea's voice played. By the end, there seemed to be a hint of teasing mixed in with her regret.
But Jonas probably wouldn't be going to see her for a while. Not because he didn't like it, but because he was afraid that if he did, he wouldn't be getting up until tomorrow afternoon.
Some girls could be satisfied in just an hour. Others might take an entire day.
Still, Chelsea had just said Eiffel had arrived, too...
Jonas looked toward his usual seat. Sure enough, his beautiful young secretary was sitting there, studying the documents on the desk intently. Her hands hadn't moved in some time, though, and she seemed more focused on her Communicator. When she noticed Jonas was awake, she told the person on the other end they would speak again later, then hung up.
"Mr. Jonas, you're awake."
Eiffel's expression was calm, but her next words shattered Jonas's lingering hope that Chelsea might only have run into her on the way out. "Were Miss Chelsea's thighs comfortable?"
Very comfortable.
