Celine had been feeling irritated lately, and not just a little. Aside from District 25's recent erotic games lacking punch and not pushing enough taboos, everything happening in District 25 was getting on her nerves too.
After all, whenever District 25 ran into unexpected trouble, Mr. Jonas got busy. And once Mr. Jonas got busy, she had no chance at all to chat or play with him.
She still hadn't used her reward-that one wish!
At this rate, she might never get to use it. By then, there probably wouldn't even be any scraps left for her!
That was secondary, though. The main thing was that Celine felt Jonas had too much on his plate lately and was under a lot of pressure. She needed to help him unwind properly, but she hadn't found an opportunity.
Over the past few days, however, an opportunity seemed to have landed right in front of her.
Today. Today, I'm going to make Mr. Jonas mine. Mm, my sister probably won't be there, so I should still have a chance.
She had barely left home with that little scheme in mind when her communicator suddenly rang.
"Celine, remember to come to the training grounds today."
It was Amau Mako.
She was currently learning from Amau Mako, and they got along pretty well. But, ahem, she'd heard that Amau Mako and Jonas hadn't been on very good terms. She didn't know exactly what had happened afterward, but both Amau Mako and Beigong Ling had ended up at the Alt Conglomerate.
Now, though, Celine had to put a question mark next to "got along pretty well."
"No, no, no, Mako, I have to see Mr. Jonas today. You know, balancing work and rest makes learning more efficient. And it's not like I haven't improved. Couldn't you..."
