The city streets resembled a moving painting, brimming with life and vitality. Morning sunlight spilled over the streets, its golden glow reflecting off the glass windows of tall buildings to form dazzling beams of light.
An endless river of metal flowed along the streets, while crowds wound their way through them. Their steps were hurried, each person pulled along by their own life. Pedestrians threaded between streams of traffic, some walking briskly: corporate drones, strangely dressed people packed with cybernetic implants, biker gangs, and the rarely seen children...
Arguments broke out on the streets from time to time. Two young people bickered endlessly over a minor collision, their voices echoing through the street and drawing curious looks from those nearby. Not far away, a customer argued with a shoe vendor over the price. The vendor insisted his price was fair, while the customer thought it was too high. Their argument mingled with the sounds of bargaining until the vendor lost his temper, pulled out a gun, and launched straight into a street shootout. After firing a few shots, he was hauled away by robots.
