Weisheng Tou's lower abdomen tightened.
At the sight of the Alpha's waist and abdomen and his large, well-defined hands, Mo Lu froze, instantly forgetting what he had meant to do.
Instead, some other thoughts came to mind.
Mo Lu did his best to control his expression.
Watching Mo Lu pretend to be composed, Weisheng Tou's lips curved into a faint smile.
Mo Lu's little gestures might fool other people, but they could not fool him.
Young master, at last I get to see you blush.
Before this, he really had felt defeated.
Every time he took off his clothes in front of Mo Lu, he felt like a slab of raw meat.
Weisheng Tou gazed at Mo Lu with dewy eyes.
Mo Lu's ears quickly reddened.
Keeping his face expressionless, he silently recited two lines of the Heart-Clearing Formula before he managed to steady his mind.
Business first.
Mo Lu cast aside his distracting thoughts, closed his eyes, and carefully traced Weisheng Tou's Curse Seal in his mind.
Gradually, a hint of delight appeared on his face.
There really does seem to be a connection!
The Curse Seal on Weisheng Tou's lower abdomen was extremely complex, its lines a complete tangle.
But he could make out a few parts resembling the Necromancy that had just attacked him.
Sure enough, this Curse Seal had some connection to the Federation.
If he excluded the Necromantic Curse Seal he could now identify, the remaining Sigil resembled...
It resembled an ancient seal passed down through the Mo Family Inheritance.
But the lines within it were still tangled and disordered.
Mo Lu frowned.
A seal?
He looked into Weisheng Tou's eyes.
What was there in Weisheng Tou that needed sealing??
"Young master?"
Weisheng Tou spoke softly.
In fact, the Empire had already tested him for Curse Techniques when he was fifteen. They had also suspected that his madness was caused by a Curse Technique.
But the Empire had been unable to detect anything.
So he had always believed he simply had a mental health problem.
If Mo Lu could cure him, he would truly be happy.
Because he did not want to stand beside Mo Lu as someone who was not normal.
With his hand resting on Weisheng Tou's abs, Mo Lu was caught in a dilemma.
If it was a seal, he could undo it with some effort.
But he still could not be absolutely certain this was a Sealing Technique.
And even if it really was a seal, he had no idea what it was sealing, so he dared not undo it recklessly.
What was more, Weisheng Tou also carried the Federation's Necromancy.
Strange.
Really strange.
He bore both a seal from the Mo Family and a Killing Curse from the Federation.
What exactly was going on with Weisheng Tou?
"Young master... could you take your hand away first?"
Weisheng Tou's voice was a little hoarse.
At those words, Mo Lu abruptly came back to his senses, his heart giving a hard thump. He withdrew his hand as though nothing had happened.
Weisheng Tou looked at Mo Lu and asked cautiously:
"Did I disturb you, young master? Do you still need to touch me?"
"You didn't. I'm done touching."
Mo Lu's voice was cool.
"Oh... all right."
Weisheng Tou still sounded a little regretful.
He pulled up his black cargo pants right in front of Mo Lu.
Looking at the bulge stretching across the fabric, Mo Lu took a deep breath and pressed a finger between Weisheng Tou's brows:
"I'll leave another Heart-Clearing Mantra."
Weisheng Tou suddenly caught Mo Lu's hand, his gaze darkening. "Young master, I don't want to recite the mantra myself."
