Chapter Summaries

Ash and the others unlocked Thousand Wishes Heaven’s management system, made Little Fox Spirit its Governor, and learned how the Heaven and its gods had been destroyed by curses. They discovered that Spell Spirits could be exchanged within the Heaven and traded Heart Sword Spell Spirits, leaving Ash with a Four-Wing Heart Sword and Sonia with his old Two-Wing Heart Sword.

• Ash and the others opened Thousand Wishes Heaven’s management system and learned that they lacked the authority to become Governor, while Little Fox Spirit could be granted the permissions.
• Little Fox Spirit ate a Wish Heart, accessed the Heaven’s records, and told Ash and the others how four gods and two World Secret Domains had been lost in the war against the curses.
• Ash examined the Spell Spirits in the Wishing Pool and exchanged its Four-Winged Spell Spirits for points, raising his total above 600.

They encountered the Four Pillar Gods’ Extermination Pope Oleiwa, who attacked them with frost, and the chapter ended as he charged through the blizzard.

• Ash and his companions escaped the Blind Vision Trial and wondered why they had not encountered any Four Pillar Gods believers in the earlier levels.
• Igula led the group through the tenth level’s grassland, where an unseen curse injured their toes and they discovered Oleiwa devouring his own body.

Harvey and Qikala stayed behind in the War Trial to keep Oleiwa from pursuing Ash, Igula, and Gwen to the next floor. They unleashed their fire and necromantic Miracles against his frost storm, leaving the fight unresolved.

• Gwen found the Mist Door after exhausting the Starry-Eyed Spell Spirit, and Qikala used his Firelight Spell Spirit to dispel Oleiwa's frost attack.
