Yu Xiaogang sought a way to evolve his martial soul through the Spirit City Central Public Library. Bibi Dong helped him access the restricted third and fourth floors, including lying to obtain a fourth-floor permit after he failed to find useful information below. He continued seeking access to the fifth floor, which required approval from Pope Qian Xunji. 95

His relationship with Bibi Dong drew Qian Xunji's opposition because Yu Xiaogang belonged to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect. When Bibi Dong refused to leave him, Qian Xunji threatened to kill Yu Xiaogang. 97

After leaving Spirit City, Yu Xiaogang's theoretical books were suppressed and Spirit Hall publicly discredited his theories, turning him into a target of ridicule among Soul Masters. He then focused on finding an exceptionally talented disciple whose success could validate his theories and reputation. 99

The Golden Iron Triangle

Yu Xiaogang traveled with Flender and Liu Erlong. Their Three-in-One Spirit Fusion Skill, Golden Sacred Dragon, earned the trio the title of the Golden Iron Triangle. 100
