"Dong, dong, dong." The clock chimed the hour.
Satoru Gojo sprawled on the couch, tipping his head back until it hung over the edge. "Nanamiii~ Tell me something fun."
Kento Nanami sighed and turned a page of his newspaper, not wanting to engage with him.
Gojo suddenly sat up, raising both hands and gesturing as he spoke. "All right, I've got a great idea! We can play catch with expired rice balls while discussing the separation of religion and state! Then we'll record it and upload the video!"
"Please do that by yourself."
"So cold! Then let's play the Yamanote Line game with things you like about Satoru Gojo!" He even clapped his hands.
"Please keep it up. Your students still need someone to act like an idiot for them."
"I wasn't talking about a mission with that level of difficulty..."
Gojo felt irritated. Having to face the death of a companion while fighting a cursed spirit of that caliber-seriously!
"Oh, right. What happened to that finger from Yoshinoya?"
Nanami kept reading his newspaper. "I handed it over to the higher-ups. If I gave it to you, you'd make Itadori eat it, wouldn't you?"
"I'm so glad I entrusted it to you~"
"But are you really going to let Taketori participate in the Goodwill Event? Those higher-ups will probably use the opportunity to make a move."
"Even if they do, Edano will be fine. Have faith in the strongest and the strongest's student~ Besides, she'd regret not participating!"
Nanami folded his newspaper and sighed.
"Teacher!" Yuji Itadori's voice arrived before he did. He rushed inside, then slammed on the brakes to catch me as I stumbled in behind him, my legs weak from running.
"Nanami's here too!"
Pale-faced, I held on to his arm and grumbled, "Yuji, I have Teleportation. Why did I have to run all the way here with you...?"
Gojo got up from the couch, scooped me up, and set me on the couch beside him. "How could you forget that yourself, Edano?"
"Haha..."
Only after I'd had a moment to recover did Gojo ask, "What was the rush to see your teacher?"
Yuji stood at attention. "Reporting!"
"Go ahead, Yuji!"
"Wait!" I hurriedly cut him off.
"Here's the thing. Yuji wants an entrance that'll surprise everyone and make them happy."
"Huh? Edano, on the way here..."
I frantically gestured at him, my hands moving fast enough to form hand seals. I really didn't want Gojo stuffing me into a box and giving me a mortifying memory that would haunt me forever!
Noticing our little exchange, Gojo gave us a knowing smile. "So that's it! Your teacher will make sure you get a surprise entrance! Just leave it to me!"
My expression turned horrified. "Huh? Wait, I don't need one!!!"
Gojo pressed a hand against my head and pushed my face into his chest. Feeling that softness, I shamefully fell silent.
Such springy, bouncy, soft pecs... No, wait. Man, how could you use your sex appeal like this? Act your age!
"How about this? The first-years will cry with surprise, the second-years and the Kyoto students will cry along with them, and some will even sob so hard they throw up..."
"And we'll end up solving global warming. Cool!!!"
Yuji waved his arms excitedly. "That sounds great! What do I do, Teacher? What do I do?"
Remembering Gojo's so-called surprise entrance in the anime, I fell silent again.
Silly Yuji. He's got you wrapped around his finger.
I buried my face deeper in that broad chest, unwilling to face any of it.
Gojo patted my head. "You don't have to do anything. Just do as I say and go with the flow~" As he spoke, he made waves with his arms and wriggled his whole body.
"So how do I do that?" Yuji followed Gojo's movements, turning into a wave himself.
"Just go with the flow, Yuji~"
I want to escape so badly, but I'm trapped in these soft pecs. Boo-hoo.
Kento Nanami: Jujutsu sorcerers are all shit, and Satoru Gojo is the king of shit!!!
In the end, thanks to my vehement objections, only Yuji, who had been thoroughly duped by Gojo, climbed into that box.
"W-why is everyone empty-handed?!" Nobara Kugisaki, who was holding a suitcase and carrying a backpack, was so shocked that she dropped her magazine.
"Huh?" ×4
Panda pointed at her in confusion. "You're the one we should be asking. Why do you have so much luggage?"
"What do you mean, why? Aren't we going to Kyoto? The sister-school Goodwill Event 'in' Kyoto."
"It's a Goodwill Event 'with' our sister school 'from' Kyoto. It's in Tokyo."
"You've got to be kidding!!!" Nobara went berserk.
"No wonder our conversations have felt a little off lately."
"Yeah."
"Salmon."
Panda kindly explained, "It's held at whichever school won last year."
Nobara rushed over and grabbed Panda's black fur. "Why'd you have to win, you idiots?!"
"Uh, we... didn't participate last year... Yuta joined in to make up the numbers, uh..."
"That was before Rika's curse was lifted. I heard it was an overwhelming victory. It was held in Kyoto, though, so I didn't see it."
Nobara angrily rolled her magazine into a megaphone. "You'll pay for this, Yuta Okkotsu! Even though we've never met!!!"
"You're taking it out on the wrong person."
"Salmon."
Just then, several people came up the stairs.
Maki turned her head and warned the others, "Hey, they're here."
"Oh my, everyone from Tokyo Jujutsu High is here. Did you come out specially to welcome us? How revolting."
"Okkotsu's not here."
Nobara impatiently interrupted, "Cut the chatter and hand over the gifts."
"Nama Yatsuhashi, kuzukiri, soba crackers!"
"Salmon."
Momo Nishimiya tightened her grip on her broom. "What's with that first-year? She's scary."
"Okkotsu being absent is one thing, but bringing a few first-years is going way too easy on us."
Nobara barged into the conversation. "A robot! There's a robot over there!"
"A jujutsu sorcerer's strength has nothing to do with age. Fushiguro, in particular, has the Zenin Clan's blood, yet he's far stronger than the Main House."
Clap, clap.
Utahime Iori came up the stairs, clapping to get their attention and stop the exchange. "All right, no infighting. Honestly, you kids."
"So, where's that idiot?"
"Satoru's late. Come to think of it, where are Edano and Yuji?" Panda looked at Nobara.
Nobara indicated that she didn't know either. "No idea. I haven't seen them since this morning."
Mai Zenin brushed aside a loose strand of hair by her ear. "I think they're too scared to show their faces."
Maki gave her a cold sidelong glance.
"Are you talking about me?" At some point, I had appeared behind the Kyoto Jujutsu High group.
"!" ×n
Aoi Todo was the first to ask, "Taketori, when did you get here?"
"Right around the part where you said I was too scared to come~" I stretched with a grin.
"Tch. Cheap tricks."
"Wow, your words really hurt-I'll make you eat dog shit, you know~" Beneath the Silk Ribbon, I was still smiling, but my words were frightening.
Thanks to Yuji spreading the word, Tokyo Jujutsu High's first- and second-years all knew that when I said I would make someone eat dog shit, I meant it literally. The thought sent a chill through them.
"Ahem. Edano, that's too disgusting."
"I know. Don't worry~" I squeezed between Maki and Nobara, wrapping an arm around each of them.
Momo shrank back. "Just looking at her, you can tell she's ridiculously strong..."
Mai snorted, looking our way with displeasure. "Hmph. The higher-ups still forcibly sealed her, didn't they?"
