Poot, poot, poot, poot, poot, poot...
Amid a string of noises, Horse Demon and three other demons approached with heavy steps, carrying a huge bronze cauldron.
The cauldron was terribly heavy. The Horse Demon and the other three strained to carry it, every step a struggle, as though it weighed ten million pounds.
As they walked, clouds of black smoke kept billowing out, like firecrackers going off at New Year, leaving the air thick with filthy fumes.
"Holy shit, are we under attack?!"
"Urgh, urgh, urgh... Where the hell did this poison gas attack come from...?"
"Urgh... I can't take it. I'm going to pass out..."
The lesser demons washing the ingredients were badly startled by the sudden scene and cried out in alarm.
The thick fumes made them nauseous, as though the stench would smoke their very organs out of their bodies.
Bang!
At last, with an earth-shaking crash, Horse Demon and the other three set the bronze cauldron down in its designated spot.
The moment they lowered it, Horse Demon and his companions felt a great weight lift from them, as though they had come back to life.
"Holy shit, it's you guys! Damn it, don't tell me you're the ones who set off that poison gas bomb?!"
As the poisonous fumes gradually dispersed, Horse Demon and his companions came into view.
The other lesser demons all pinched their noses, their faces filled with utter disgust.
"Holy crap, that nearly killed me! You lot, come help wash this bronze cauldron!"
Horse Demon panted heavily. He was so exhausted that even moving felt difficult.
"Pah! Wash it yourselves! It stinks beyond belief over there, and we haven't even finished washing these ingredients!"
That lesser demon nearly threw up. And they actually wanted them to go over and help?
