Otherwise, if someone else did that, they'd be completely drained.
Himeko Murata: "Mei was just a bad cook before, but Theresa would directly deduct lifespan. The difference is too huge."
Bronya: "No, I think Mei's punishment wasn't light either, at least not for Kiana."
Kiana: "Don't even mention it. I ate the fried chicken Mei made that day and almost foamed at the mouth and fainted."
Thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.
For those three days, everything Mei made tasted like ash. Sometimes, she could even whip up devilish dishes.
Kiana was already preparing to cook herself, but thankfully Raiden Mei stopped her, preventing a family tragedy in the Kaslana household.
Those few days really worried Kiana sick.
Poor Kiana, because she couldn't chat in the group while eating Mei's cooking, she cried and threw tantrums, boohoohoo, so pitiful.

Chapter 24: Theresa's Embarrassing Moment
Pardofelis: "So, Theresa, are you okay? If not, I can ask Sister Snake about it next time. She's the most experienced when it comes to extending life."
Theresa: "No, no, no, just two years of lifespan, I can handle it."
Kiana: "Pardo, please don't think of Mobius every time there's trouble. Her reputation is ruined by people like you."
Raiden Mei: "Exactly! Even though I haven't truly accepted Mobius yet, I hear so much about her every time we chat, my impression of her keeps getting worse."
Elysia: "That's right, Pardo. We Fire Moth are a united family, you can't sow discord among us."
Pardofelis: "This..."
Actually, based on Pardo's personal feelings, Mobius's reputation probably didn't need her to damage it further; it was already at rock bottom.
Also, Sister Elysia.
With our Fire Moth relationships, why would we need her to sow discord?
If you clarify everyone's relationships besides yours, it could probably be made into a whole suspenseful drama series.
[Exposure begins, this time divided into four parts.]
[Act 1: Theresa.]
Raiden Mei: "Four parts? Are they going to reveal the battle situations corresponding to those four answers one by one?"
Elysia: "Oh? If that's the case, then I'm quite interested. How brilliant will future civilizations shine when they fight against Honkai? It's truly something to look forward to."
Everyone noticed the change in the screen. The first thing they saw was Theresa in a lake.
[In the screen, Theresa covered her mouth and slowly fell into the water. The boundless deep sea made her almost suffocate.
Judgement was stolen by the Herrscher of the Void. With her own strength alone, she couldn't escape this body of water.
Theresa struggled with all her might, and the lake water gradually began to swallow her.
"Wait, Einstein said Judgement can track via Honkai energy. If Judgement can sense me..."
Theresa let go of her mind and tried to summon Judgement, to take it back from the Herrscher.
Meanwhile, the Herrscher of the Void, who was still fiddling with Judgement, suddenly widened her eyes and took several steps back.
Suddenly, Judgement erupted, pushing her away in an instant. It then quickly locked onto Theresa's direction, unable to be stopped even by the Herrscher's Authority.
"As expected, you found me after all, Judgement."
Theresa grabbed the golden chain and leaped out of the lake, quickly arriving before the Herrscher of the Void.
"You can't get rid of me. Judgement will link us together. Give up, I don't want to fight you."
Theresa said to Sirin.
Now that Judgement was in hand, Theresa's strength returned to its peak. However, knowing Sirin's past, Theresa couldn't bear to fight her.
"You ungrateful wretch, wasting my good intentions!"
Sirin projected the Void Lance, which instantly reached Theresa.
At the same time, Judgement followed closely behind, blocking in front of Theresa to stop the Void Lance's attack.
With Judgement's help, Theresa didn't even need to move. She could have matched an S-rank Valkyrie even if she was just AFK.
"Judgement, stop her!"
Theresa shouted, and the golden chains sealed off the surroundings.
However, the Void Lance, like an illusion, passed directly through Judgement and then through Theresa's body.
Just before the pain hit, Theresa thought it was just a phantom.
With a snap of Sirin's fingers, the illusory Void Lance instantly turned solid, piercing Theresa's abdomen.
Schicksal Faction, S-rank Valkyrie Theresa, disconnected.]
Kiana: "Pfft... Hahaha, Auntie, you're too embarrassing. You fell without even lasting one move. This kind of projected spear, you could dodge it just by moving."
Himeko Murata: "Sigh, Theresa, didn't you say before that during the Second Honkai War, you bravely forced the Herrscher of the Void to retreat with a single move?"
It seems Theresa was just bragging earlier.
It wasn't that she forced the Herrscher of the Void to retreat; she was utterly defeated in their first encounter, instantly wiped out by a Void Lance.
Theresa: "I, how was I supposed to know that weapon was so strange? It could actually manifest physically, even Judgement couldn't block it. Yes, it's all Judgement's fault!"
If Judgement had just put up a better fight, she definitely wouldn't have been defeated so quickly.
Being watched by so many people now was just too embarrassing. As an S-rank Valkyrie, to lose so fast, Theresa felt like dying.
Theresa insisted her performance was up to par, and it was all Judgement's problem!
Judgement, however, was unconcerned. It thought, I'm really impressed with you, Theresa, you old trickster. Bullying me because I can't talk.
You know, as one of Judgement's users, Theresa, you're the weakest I've ever seen.
Bronya: "Director, please stop explaining. We can all see that Judgement did its best in the recent battle."
Elysia: "The Eleventh Divine Key, Oath of Judas. It's a Divine Key created using a Herrscher Core, and by universal reason, shouldn't one be invincible immediately after deploying the Divine Grace Barrier?"
Eden: "I also find it hard to understand why Judgement's performance was so poor."
That was the Authority of a Herrscher. After the incident of the Herrscher Calamity, they knew its power all too well.
Although Judgement was only a Divine Key, not a complete Herrscher, it should have been able to mimic even a fraction of its original power.
As for why it was so weak, the main reason definitely wasn't Judgement itself.
Theresa: "Uh..."
The Director scratched her head. Could she say that she was instantly knocked out by a surprise attack, without even getting a chance to activate Zero Nominal Power?
Pardofelis: "It has to save people, it has to tank damage, it's the attacker, it's the tank. Judgement really has it tough these days."
After a moment of reflection, the screen began to change again.
[Act Two: Aokiji, Cecilia.]
[The scene shows a cozy room, a warm family. Sirin, the Herrscher of the Void, who brought disaster, was immersed in happiness within this home.
Night.
Sirin lay on the bed, clutching a Benares doll, tossing and turning, unable to sleep.
"Mom... It's been so long since I felt this safe. She's really good to me. But, what should I do?"
Sirin fell into hesitation. If she could have grown up like a normal child, instead of in Babylon Laboratory, perhaps she would have had a wonderful childhood.
But everything was a lie.
She was the Herrscher of the Void. Those hateful humans had killed her companions, and she swore to take revenge.
But now Cecilia had given her enough love, as if that person were truly her mother, making Sirin believe there were still people in this world who loved her.]
Chapter 25: Cecilia's Cause of Death
["Even if this is a false dream created by Feather, perhaps it would be a good choice to never let this dream end."
Such a thought flashed through Sirin's mind.
But suddenly, the Benares doll in her hand turned to ash, and her connection to Benares was severed.
"I'm sorry, Queen, I can't stay by your side forever... Please don't be sad for me."
Benares' voice echoed in Sirin's mind.
The demonic dragon Benares had fallen in the snow and ice, leaving her Queen forever.
"Bella!"
Having lost her companion, Sirin was heartbroken. She summoned the Void Lance and thrust it towards Siegfried.
At the critical moment, Cecilia arrived, saving Siegfried and dodging the fatal blow.
It was then that Sirin began to understand that Cecilia had not been hypnotized by Feather at all. She had been deceived like a clown.
"You knew all along I wasn't your daughter, you... liar!!!"
In her despair, Sirin unleashed an unprecedented amount of Honkai energy, sweeping towards Siegfried and the other.
"Listen to me, Sirin..."
Cecilia tried to explain. She didn't want to fight Sirin.
In Feather's illusion, she had truly treated Sirin as her daughter, giving her motherly care.
But Sirin, having lost Benares, was now filled only with sorrow and anger at being deceived.
Terrifying Honkai energy permeated the surroundings, and Cecilia and the other, stripped of their armor and weapons, were completely defenseless.
"Go quickly."
Welt arrived at the last moment, taking the two and escaping the area.]
Kiana: "Stupid Dad? He actually participated in the Second Honkai War, and Mommy Cecilia is so gentle."
Seeing her parents for the first time, Kiana felt an unprecedented excitement.
Her smelly old dad never told her these things before, which made Kiana very curious. Only now does she understand what they went through in the past.
Elysia: "Eh? Is the man in the picture and Cecilia, who the Herrscher calls 'mom,' Kiana's parents?"
Kiana: "Hehe, that's me, Cecilia's biological daughter, Kiana Kaslana."
Raiden Mei: "Congratulations, Kiana, you've finally found clues about your parents. It's a shame there's nothing about your father's whereabouts here."
Kiana: "It's okay, I'll find my smelly old dad someday and give him a big bump on the head."
One might not be enough.
Her smelly old dad abandoned her and disappeared without a trace, and now who knows where he's off gallivanting. Kiana swore she'd teach him a lesson when the time came.
Bronya: "Bronya has infiltrated Schicksal's database, but I couldn't find Siegfried's whereabouts either. It seems Schicksal is also looking for him."
Kiana: "It's okay, thank you, Bronya. But I have Mei, Teacher Himeko, and Auntie now. When I get more concrete clues about my smelly old dad, I'll go find him then."
Pardofelis: "You... are truly a filial daughter."
Elysia: "Am I the only one curious about Kiana's mother being so interesting? It's incredible that a Herrscher from an opposing faction would recognize her as a mother."
Theresa: "Sigh, Cecilia was just like that. She truly considered Sirin her daughter."
During that great war, Theresa had also tried to persuade Sirin, but it failed without a doubt.
Yet Cecilia achieved what no one else could, something even they didn't dare to believe.
Kiana: "Wait, if that's the case, didn't my mother die in the Second Honkai War fighting a Herrscher?!"
In an instant, Kiana's mind suddenly started working better.
Mother Cecilia didn't want to fight the Herrscher; that much was clear from the video. And the Herrscher of the Void didn't seem like she would actually kill her mother.
Then Cecilia's cause of death certainly wasn't the version Schicksal announced.
