Background / History

Hua was one of Fire Moth’s Thirteen Flame-Chasers, ranked twelfth among the group. She fought Herrschers and Honkai alongside the other Flame-Chasers during the Previous Era and was remembered by Elysia and Pardofelis as a formidable warrior. 16 19

As the Immortal Crimson Bird, Hua protected Shenzhou for millennia. Repeated use of Feather caused her memories to deteriorate; during a major battle, she burned away a large portion of them. A separate battle at Sky Peak left her without her immortality and most of her power. 18 19

Otto Apocalypse later recruited Hua into Schicksal. She accepted a deal to monitor Kiana at St. Freya Academy in return for assistance protecting Shenzhou, though the assignment increasingly conflicted with her conscience as she grew attached to Kiana and her friends. 19 20

After joining the chat group, Hua initially denied being the Immortal Crimson Bird because her memories and former strength were incomplete. A Memory Restoration Capsule gradually restored her recollections, allowing her to recognize Elysia, Pardofelis, and Eden after fifty thousand years. 18 19

Hua ultimately disclosed that Otto had sent her to monitor Kiana because Kiana was the vessel designated K423 for the Herrscher of the Void. She later received a Bone-Melting Blood-Regenerating Pill, which restored her physical injuries, though her Divine Tone, Sword Heart, and Feather remained unavailable. 20 21

Appearance

When assuming the form of the Immortal Crimson Bird, Hua’s hair changes into an interwoven red-and-white coloration. Her combat body is that of a Fusion Warrior, possessing exceptional strength, speed, resilience, and Honkai Energy resistance. 16 44

Personality

Hua is composed, restrained, and strongly guided by responsibility. Even after Otto betrayed and shot her, she initially tried to assess the situation rationally rather than act solely out of anger; she described herself as someone who resolves matters through reason. 42

She is protective of Kiana and reluctant to burden her friends with truths they are not ready to face. Hua withheld details of Otto’s plan until Kiana could become strong enough to confront her own fate, then promised to guide Kiana’s training personally. 20

Elysia and Pardofelis consider Hua overly serious and bound by rules, while Hua herself is embarrassed by the idea of acting recklessly or “going dark.” 40

Fusion Warrior Physiology

Hua possesses the body of a Fusion Warrior, giving her superhuman physical capabilities and a high degree of resistance to Honkai Energy. Even before her physical recovery, Pardofelis considered Hua vastly beyond her own strength. 21 44

A displayed battle against Sirin causes the group to question whether St. Freya’s Fu Hua and the Previous Era’s Hua are the same person. Pardofelis recognizes her immediately, and the truth becomes increasingly apparent after Hua joins the chat group. 16 18

Spy Revelation and Memory Recovery

Hua identifies herself as the St. Freya spy during a System quiz, receives the Memory Restoration Capsule, and begins recalling her life as a Flame-Chaser. Her restored memories force her to confront both her past and the deal she made with Otto. 19

Kiana’s Secret

Hua confirms that Otto sent her to observe Kiana because Kiana is K423, the vessel intended to awaken the Herrscher of the Void. Although she tries to delay this revelation for Kiana’s sake, the System exposes the truth. 20 21

Physical Recovery

After receiving the Bone-Melting Blood-Regenerating Pill, Hua’s body returns to peak physical condition. She remains unable to regain her complete former state due to the absence of her Divine Tone, Sword Heart, and Feather. 21

The “Blackened Hua” Misunderstanding

Scenes initially appear to show Hua rampaging through Schicksal Headquarters, defeating Durandal, and fighting Kevin. The group later learns that these actions were committed by the Herrscher of Reason born from Hua’s body, not Hua herself. 38 39 43
