Li Jie’s travels brought him into contact with heroes, criminals, and divine beings before he returned to Gotham and helped protect Raven. The Eastern District Precinct survived the League of Assassins’ attack, but Shadow Demons possessed officers, leaving the threat within the station unresolved.

• Li Jie traveled through Midway City and Star City, declined offers to join Leonard’s bank robbery, confronted Green Arrow, and raised millions for Gotham’s children’s aid program.
• In Florida, Li Jie resisted Dionysus’s powers until Diana intervened, then returned to Gotham and told Bob that supernatural beings were real.
• Bob kept Raven under precinct protection, and Li Jie discovered that Trigon’s magic could not corrupt him before agreeing to help Raven understand their powers.
• Li Jie brought Raven to the station, where Harleen sought to treat her and Bruce Wayne prepared to protect the precinct from the League of Assassins.
• Li Jie, Bob, Gordon, and their teams fortified the precinct, defeating several waves of assassins with traps and coordinated defenses.

Li Jie strengthened the East End precinct while confronting Hugo Strange’s manipulation, Jonathan Crane’s fear gas, and the Church of Blood’s pursuit of Raven. The arc ended with Ra's al Ghul sending the League of Assassins toward Gotham to summon Trigon and save the fading Lazarus Pit.

• Li Jie helped bring Oliver Queen and Bruce Wayne’s rival donations to five million dollars each, then learned that Bruce planned to seek advice about Raven and the supernatural attacks.
• Li Jie investigated Dr. Edgar Morris’s death and arranged for Harleen Quinzel to observe Hugo Strange’s psychological assessments at the precinct.
• Harleen recognized that Strange was pushing Edward Nygma toward a second personality, and Li Jie interrupted the session before Nygma accepted the idea.

Li Jie and the Eastern District Precinct prepared for and survived a coordinated assault by the League of Assassins and Brother Blood’s cult, with Raven helping them destroy Brother Blood. Afterward, Li Jie began training new cadets and took recruits on patrol, where they encountered Nicholas Hawthorne.

• Li Jie strengthened the precinct’s defenses with weapons and supplies as Cobblepot and Wilson assisted, while the Eternal Church urged believers to protest and Brother Blood killed Finn.
• Nygma tested Fear Toxin, confronted the Riddler in his mind, and overcame the toxin with Li Jie and the others’ support.
• Li Jie and Wilson faced protesters demanding Raven, then searched for her after she fled and brought her back to safety.
