Piccolo fixed his eyes on the two Saiyans. His exceptional Namekian hearing let him catch every word they said.
"Son Goku, that little runt looks like he's about to attack you!"
"Great, I'll take him! Krillin! Tien Shinhan! Help Piccolo keep my big brother busy!" Son Goku said, rubbing his hands together.
Piccolo spat. "Son Goku, I'm Demon King Piccolo! I don't need anyone's help!"
With his strength already restored by a Senzu Bean, Piccolo turned into a streak of light and charged at Raditz again.
"Krillin!" Goku called.
"Got it! Let's go, everyone!"
"We'll show those Saiyans that Earth has more than just Goku and Piccolo!"
Krillin, Chiaotzu, Tien Shinhan, and Yamcha abruptly accelerated, streaking after Piccolo in a flash of light.
Soon, the four of them joined Piccolo in a furious battle against Raditz.
Son Goku, meanwhile, turned his attention to Vegeta.

Vegeta dashed over to a small hill near Son Goku and stood with his arms folded, looking down at him.
"Kakarot, Raditz told me your battle power was only two when you were born. You were the lowest of the Low-Class Warriors. Yet King Linx saw you as the future of the Saiyans and deliberately sent you to Earth. Now I understand. You really are special!"
"But a Low-Class Warrior is still a Low-Class Warrior! Compared to a prodigy like me, you've still got a long way to go!"
Son Goku answered with a smile. "Talent is just talent. With relentless effort, even a fool can surpass a genius!"
"Hahaha! Ridiculous! Then let me show you the gap between a genius and a fool!"
"Hah! Hah!"
The air rang with sharp whistles. Son Goku unleashed fivefold Kaioken right from the start, his fists and feet leaving countless afterimages as his attacks shot forward like bullets.
