Gojo Satoru chatted briefly with Neji before leaving the examination hall.

Neji Hyuga's final, relieved smile was something he couldn't quite grasp.

But it doesn't seem like a bad thing.

Gojo Satoru rested his chin on his hand and muttered to himself.

"Mr. Bandage, you're amazing!" Naruto watched the entire match and was incredibly excited.

There seemed to be light shining in those blue eyes.

"Of course." Upon hearing this, Gojo Satoru's chin practically popped out of his head.

Beneath the bandages, her eyes curved into a beautiful arc.

He showed absolutely no intention of being humble.

Gojo Satoru knew the score perfectly well: he worked hard every day to improve his performance and diligently earned points, so why couldn't he deserve a single word of praise?

She's clearly more than capable of handling it.

"By the way, hasn't Sasuke arrived yet?" Sakura asked anxiously.

It's his turn next, but he can't be found anywhere right now.

Could something have happened?

When Sakura brought it up, Naruto suddenly remembered this incident as well.

"Oh yeah, that guy hasn't shown up yet!"

"Could it be that he chickened out?"

Naruto may have been grinning, but the worry in his eyes was impossible to hide.

What on earth is that guy doing?

His turn will be on in a little while; if he doesn't come soon, the game is over.

What exactly is going on in his head?

Gojo Satoru watched the two of them pacing anxiously, and a smile slowly spread from the corners of his eyes.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen."

He is, after all, the heir of the Uchiha Clan; the Third would surely give him a back door.

I'll use Sasuke's character to vouch for you all.

Sakura and Naruto had black lines appear on their foreheads after hearing this.

Naruto scratched his hair, making his blond hair look like a bird's nest.

"Mr. Bandage..." His voice was full of helplessness.

What are you talking about?

"The Third Hokage, cough, how could Grandpa Hokage do such a thing?"

"Why use Sasuke's character as a fallback?"

Gojo Satoru blinked, looking very serious.

"Hmm, you wouldn't believe me even if I offered my own."

"Besides, Sasuke is a pretty reliable person, isn't he?"

"Of course we have to take his!"

Naruto, standing opposite him, was stunned by those words and remained speechless for a long time.

"That doesn't seem unreasonable..."

But something just felt off.

Sakura felt a tightness in her chest as she watched Naruto about to be dragged down into the ditch.

She quietly raised her hand to cover her face, trying to escape this exhausting scene.

Naruto, were you really convinced so easily?

And haven't you guys noticed that the topic of conversation has veered completely off-topic?

It seems that's not what we were talking about at the beginning.

Although the conversation ended somewhat abruptly, the overall effect was still acceptable.

This interruption eased Naruto and Sakura's tension considerably.

Meanwhile, another conversation was taking place on the Hokage's side.

"Since Sasuke Uchiha is so late, then announce that his qualification for the competition is revoked..." the Third Hokage said in a low voice.

"Lord Hokage," Orochimaru, disguised as the Kazekage, suddenly interrupted.

Please reconsider the matter of Sasuke's qualification being revoked.

"Most of the village leaders and daimyo present here, including myself, came specifically for this event."

"He is the last remaining member of the Uchiha Clan."

"Make sure he fights Gaara of the Land of Wind."

The Third Hokage paused for a moment upon hearing this, then lowered his head to think for a while before finally making the decision.

"OK."

"This match will be postponed."

In the audience, Naruto was stunned for a moment when he heard the examiner announce that Sasuke's match had been postponed.

That feeling of joy instantly rose to his eyebrows.

"Mr. Bandage, you were actually right!"

"Sasuke really wasn't disqualified."

"Could it be that his grandfather Third Hokage, pulled strings for him?"

"No way, does that kid have that much influence?"

Sakura listened to Naruto on with a dark expression.

How stupid!

Can't you lower your voice a little when saying something like this?

Can't you see everyone's looking this way?

Sakura immediately intervened and stopped Naruto was still talking loudly.

Sakura had only one thought in her mind: If I can't stop that weird ninja Gojo Satoru, can't I stop you?

But then again, why is the Lord Hokage so biased towards Sasuke?

Could it be that the whole backdoor thing is actually true?

The next match is between Temari and Shikamaru. Will the ending be the same as in the original story?

Gojo Satoru rested his chin on his hand, bored out of his mind, his gaze wandering over the things around him.

Suddenly, he spotted Hozuki and Haku, whom he hadn't seen in a while.

Why are those two back?

Have you obtained all the information you gathered?

Gojo Satoru watched their hurried steps, and the corners of his mouth curved slightly upward.

Without making a sound, he left his spot and moved towards Hozuki and Haku.

"Oh, you're back." Gojo Satoru's lips curled into a bright smile.

"Lord Wu," Bai replied calmly.

"Oh, right, Master Wu," Hozuki Kagetsu interjected.

Do you know what we stumbled upon this time?

Shiro, standing to the side, looked at Hozuki as if he were a child and shook his head helplessly.

"What?" Gojo Satoru blinked and asked cooperatively.

"Haku and I found a group of very strange ninjas on the outskirts of Konoha," Hozuki Kagetsu continued.

"They're like they're practicing Summoning Technique."

"Hmm, I guess it's trying to summon something."

"Konoha is probably about to descend into chaos."

Finally, she shook her head and drew a conclusion about the matter.

"You're right, so you should go back now." Gojo Satoru's lips curled slightly.

As soon as he finished speaking, Hozuki and Haku both froze.

What?

Are they hearing okay?

"What's wrong?" Hozuki Kagetsu's voice was full of confusion.

Why are you suddenly bringing this up?

Bai, standing to the side, was equally shocked after hearing this.

Is something wrong?

Why did you suddenly make this decision?

Gojo Satoru rested his chin on his hand and slumped down.

He agreed to bring Hozuki and Haku this time not only because Shisui was worried.

Another reason is that this Chunin Ninja Exams is a good opportunity for newcomers to practice.

It's the perfect tool to pair with Hozuki and Haku.

It would be a good thing to let them meet these promising new talents.

But the things that are about to happen are not suitable for them to get involved in.

"Well, you guys are really serious about this," Gojo Satoru replied, sounding rather helpless.

But after a short while, his expression became unusually serious.

"Hozuki, Haku, this is really not something I can tell you."

The aura surrounding him subtly changed.

"But..." Hozuki Kagetsu wanted to say a few more words.

"Understood." Bai cut her off decisively.

"Let's go, Hozuki."

Hozuki Kagetsu glanced at the cold and stern-faced Shiro, then at Gojo Satoru standing beside him.

"Fine," she sighed softly.

It's because you guys all play the mysterious card.

That's the only way then.

The two quietly retreated from the area once again.

They weren't sure what Gojo Satoru was planning to do.

But what they knew for sure was that he had already made up his mind—

Those who stand by him not only need to constantly remind him of the dangers around them, but also need to be sure to trust him at crucial moments.

The remaining point is to be prepared to clean up his mess at any time.

Of course, they can sometimes choose to play dumb about this last point.

If you help him too much, that guy will only get more and more arrogant!
