Odin stood up and said to Ponzu, "Let's go."
Gon and Killua stood up too and followed them out.
They left the auction hall and entered the lobby, where they found Battera preparing to leave.
"Can I help you?" Battera asked.
Odin walked over and stood before him. "Mr. Battera, could you let us have one of the consoles?"
Battera looked at him without a word. Beside him, Tsezguerra stepped forward, placing himself between Battera and Odin.
"You'll have to earn it," Battera said.
Odin was deeply disappointed. If he had a choice, he really didn't want to do this, even if it would let him play the game and earn money in the process.
But Odin wasn't after money. He wanted to enter Greed Island to grow stronger.
He paused, then said, "Since you've bought so many consoles, you must need players too. We'd like to volunteer."
The thought gave Odin a headache. If only Killua's second brother hadn't insisted on keeping an entire console to himself.
Between Milluki's money and Odin's, they would have had enough to persuade Battera to give up one console.
Then there would have been no need to volunteer.
Unsure what to make of Odin, Battera turned to Tsezguerra beside him.
Tsezguerra stepped forward and stood before Odin.
"Show me your Ren," he told Odin, Ponzu, and Gon and Killua, who had just approached.
Gon and Killua nodded. "Okay."
They planted their feet and took a deep breath. Nen surged from their bodies. This was Ren.
Tsezguerra took one look and shook his head. "Not good enough."
