The clamor in the top-floor arena had yet to fade. Golden evening sunlight streamed through the glass dome onto the cracked alloy ring, stretching the three friends' shadows long. Lin Ye's chest rose and fell gently. His battle with Hisoka had consumed nearly seventy percent of his Nen, and his limbs still ached from being bound by Nen Threads. Yet his eyes remained clear, and the fierce Gale Force aura around him gradually settled into a gentle but substantial sheath, no longer bristling with aggression. Gon and Killua supported him on either side, their excitement still undimmed as they chattered around him, admiration practically spilling from their eyes. "Lin Ye, that last strike was incredible! You snapped all of Hisoka's Nen Threads at once!" Gon clenched his fists and mimicked the movement, wishing he could unleash an attack that sharp himself. Killua nodded too, his voice full of wonder. "I've never seen anyone break Hisoka's Ten Thousand Thread Lock. I thought you were going to get trapped, but you still had a trump card like that. Lin Ye, how did you develop that penetrating Nen Technique?" Lin Ye chuckled and patted their shoulders. His voice held a trace of exhaustion, but it was especially gentle. "Through my training these past few days, the advanced Nen Techniques Mr. Wing taught me, and the pressure of actual combat. Keep working hard, and you'll develop finishing moves of your own someday." As they spoke, Wing approached with Zushi. The usually mild-mannered Nen instructor looked at Lin Ye with admiration and astonishment he could not conceal. "Lin Ye, you truly exceeded every expectation I had." Wing adjusted his glasses, his praise heartfelt. "I've seen countless gifted Nen users, but you're the most exceptional of them all. Rather than following the conventional paths of the
