A few bandages were still stuck to his face.
Those were the marks his mother, Kikyo, had left when she tried to stop him in the hallway.

Gon hung up the phone and turned around.
The two boys' eyes met.

Killua came forward to meet him.
They didn't hug or exchange any sentimental words.
Gon raised his fist and gave Killua a light punch in the chest.
"You jerk. You really made us hunt for you."
Killua rubbed his chest, his signature mischievous grin curling across his lips.
"Who told you to come sticking your noses in? I could've snuck out on my own."
Despite his words, he couldn't hide the smile in his eyes.
Leorio stepped forward, hooked an arm around Killua's neck, and vigorously ruffled his silver hair.
"You little brat, do you have any idea how much we suffered trying to push open that stupid gate of yours?"
"Leorio, let go! You smell like sweat."
Killua struggled.
Kurapika stood to one side, watching them horse around with a gentle smile.

Sitting on the sofa, Luo Ye began clapping at a leisurely pace.
He stood up and walked into the middle of the four.
He had switched back into his slick-talking CEO mode.
"All employees, quiet down."
Luo Ye cleared his throat.
"As the founder of VIP Studio, I hereby officially announce..."
"That this team-building mission deep behind enemy lines to rescue our core employee, Comrade Killua..."
"Has been a complete success."
He took a chibi Killua figurine he had bought at headquarters out of his pocket and pressed it into Killua's hand.
"This
