A gentle breeze blew, and leaves swayed. Looking out, one could see three figures, big and small: one white-haired head floating above the green leaves, and two blond heads that were an eyesore.
That was right. This group was Jiraiya, Meihui Uzumaki, and Naruto Uzumaki, out on a trip-pfft, no, out on a mission.
They reached the outskirts of Konoha, still within the Land of Fire. Jiraiya brought the two little blonds to an inn to rest, then spotted a scantily clad hottie making eyes at him.
The old pervert immediately grew restless with excitement. Really, how could ordinary people possibly understand the charm of the Toad Sage?
"Oh? Beautiful, did you come looking for this sage?" Jiraiya asked, already knowing the answer.
The beauty nodded and tapped Jiraiya's shoulder three times. He understood instantly and, smiling, took Meihui and Naruto to the room he had already booked.
"All right, boys, I have something to take care of. Stay here and behave. Don't go out before I get back."
"Pervy old man, what are you going to do?" Naruto asked curiously.
Meihui promptly rapped Naruto on the head.
"All right, Naruto. Kids shouldn't pry into grown-up business. Isn't that right, Uncle Jiraiya?"
At Meihui's words, Jiraiya immediately gave him a thumbs-up. You really get me.
"Meihui, you know what's what. Keep an eye on Naruto here, and don't let him run around. All right, I'll be back soon," Jiraiya said casually.
"Don't worry. I'll step in if necessary," Meihui answered calmly.
With Meihui's assurance, Jiraiya left without looking back, rushing out in an impatient frenzy.
