Evening. Spirit City.

The fiery clouds on the horizon slowly dispersed. The city lights dimmed.

The building next to the Douluo Game Hall has finally been renovated.

A wide passageway was built between the two buildings, with the ground paved with gray-white stone slabs.

The stone slabs were polished very smoothly, without a single gap.

This new building is specifically for entertaining guests.

The guest rooms, security personnel, and general staff were all paid for and arranged by the Spirit Hall.

Since its opening, the Game Hall has earned the Spirit Hall millions of Gold Soul Coin.

The Ledger sent to the Elder Hall every day showed increasingly larger and larger numbers.

Bibi Dong was very satisfied with the result. She immediately ordered that the two streets surrounding the Game Hall be incorporated into the Spirit Hall's Direct Guard Zone.

Qin Chuan has not returned to the Spirit Hall during this period.

Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo have been assigned to guard the area downstairs in shifts. With these two Titled Douluo around, no one dares to cause trouble here.

Qin Chuan lives on the top floor of the new building. It is an extremely spacious luxury suite.

The new building has three floors.

The first floor houses a large restaurant and dozens of standard guest rooms.

Xie Yue, Yan, and other young members of the Spirit Hall, along with some male guests, all stayed on the first floor.

The restaurant was bustling with activity in the evenings; after playing games until they were tired, they would go there for a big meal.

The second floor also has dozens of guest rooms, specifically for female guests. Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, Hu Liena, and some other female guests all stayed on the second floor.

The third floor is the quietest, with only six luxury suites.

Bibi Dong occupied one room. She would occasionally come over to inspect and rest.

Qin Chuan occupied one room.

The remaining four suites are empty, reserved for people with special status.

Qin Chuan's suite was large and simply furnished. A large bed was placed against the wall, and a sofa set was in the middle.

Inside the suite, there is a very special little cubicle.

The cubicle door was usually locked. Inside was engraved a Spatial Link Formation, which was directly connected to the game branch of the Heaven Dou City Shrek Academy.

This is also an independent Spatial Passage. Currently, Qin Chuan has only granted permission to Liu Erlong.

That night...

Spirit City fell silent. Only the footsteps of patrolling guards could be heard on the streets.

After taking a shower, Qin Chuan changed into a loose-fitting long robe. He walked to the window and opened it. The evening breeze blew in, carrying away some of the daytime heat.

On his system panel, his Soul Power value kept increasing.

Level 68.

The speed was so fast that even he was somewhat surprised.

Since the Shrek Branch Hall opened, a large number of Soul Master and students have gathered there every day. The Points and Soul Power they generate from playing games are continuously flowing into Qin Chuan.

This is the advantage of having a branch library.

Qin Chuan turned and walked to the bedside, lying down. The blanket was very soft.

He closed his eyes, intending to rest.

The door to the cubicle rang.

Knock knock.

Two very light knocks on the door.

Qin Chuan opened his eyes; he knew who it was. Besides Liu Erlong, no one else could have gotten through that passage.

He got out of bed and went to open the door.

The door opened. Liu Erlong stood in the cubicle.

She wore a dark blue long dress with a silver ribbon tied around her waist. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail, with a few stray strands clinging to her cheeks. Her complexion was rosy, and her eyes shone with excitement.

The two were no longer strangers.

Qin Chuan looked at her, a smile appearing on his lips.

Liu Erlong smiled too. She walked out of the cubicle and closed the door behind her.

Qin Chuan led her to the sofa. The two sat down together. The sofa was very soft, Liu Erlong leaned back, letting out a sigh of relief.

Qin Chuan looked at her profile and asked.

"Sister Liu, you're here so late, what's the situation over there?"

Liu Erlong turned to look at Qin Chuan, her smile impossible to hide.

"I'm just reporting to you. Today's earnings: 800,000 Gold Soul Coin."

Qin Chuan raised an eyebrow when he heard the number.

"What? They've overtaken the main stadium!"

The main hall in Spirit City earns approximately 500,000 Gold Soul Coin per day.

Liu Erlong nodded and sat up straight.

"Yeah. Mainly because Shrek Academy isn't as strict as Spirit City. Plus, the academy is huge, and young Soul Master from several surrounding cities all rushed over when they heard the news. There were just too many people; the Blind Box Wall was sold out in an hour. The line in front of the Claw Machine stretched all the way to the main gate."

Qin Chuan did some mental calculations.

800,000 a day. That's over 20 million Gold Soul Coin a month.

This is practically a money printing machine.

No wonder my level has been skyrocketing these past two days, reaching level 68 in no time. More people mean more people playing the game.

Qin Chuan nodded.

"We'll break even in just a few days. Tell your staff to raise the teachers' salaries and benefits further."

Shrek Academy was already very poor. The teachers didn't earn much money each month.

Now that the Game Hall is open, Qin Chuan doesn't mind giving out more money to completely tie these people to this boat.

Liu Erlong laughed when she heard this.

"I arranged it long ago. All the teachers who helped maintain order and operations got their salaries tripled. You don't know, that Flender, he's counting money until his hands cramp up every day. He's also playing the Fruit Machine, laughing while he loses money."

Qin Chuan imagined the scene. Flender, that miser, seeing the Gold Soul Coin flowing in like water, would probably sleep with his eyes open.

"What else did he say?" Qin Chuan asked.

"He said he regretted not meeting you sooner. If he had known that opening Game Hall was so profitable, he would have sold his college ten years ago and joined you." Liu Erlong finished speaking and laughed first.

Qin Chuan smiled too. This is what you call a bond of shared interests. With the support of Flender, the greedy dean, it would be hard for the Shrek Branch Hall not to be a hit.

After laughing, Qin Chuan thought of someone else.

"What about Yu Xiaogang?"

Liu Erlong's smile faded slightly. She picked up the water glass on the table, took a sip, and then put it down.

"He's still working on it relentlessly. Of the three problems you gave me last time, he only saw you solve one. He's been studying the remaining two problems about the Circumference and the Dock Site Selection every day. The pile of draft paper on his table is half a person high."

Qin Chuan leaned back on the sofa, his eyes turning somewhat mocking.

The fundamental problems of Modern Geometry and Calculus were thrown at a Martial Soul Theory Grandmaster who had no concept of modern mathematics.

Has he made any progress?

Liu Erlong shook his head.

"There's still no result. He's searched through all the ancient books in the academy, and even made several trips to the Heaven Dou City Library. After returning, he locks himself in his room, calculating without eating or drinking. I've noticed several strands of his hair have turned white from staying up so long."

Qin Chuan chuckled.

"Given his level of theoretical understanding, without guidance from predecessors, those two problems would have kept him pondering for years."

Yu Xiaogang is too arrogant. He thinks he has all the knowledge in the world in his grasp. Now that he has encountered something completely beyond his comprehension, his worldview has been severely shaken.

Liu Erlong sighed.

"Let him be. As long as he doesn't come out and interfere with the Game Hall's business, it's fine."

After the two finished talking, a brief silence fell over the room.

It was late at night. There was no wind outside the window, not even the sound of insects chirping.
