From Investigator to Supporter

On the second floor, Xiao Wu welcomed Liu Erlong as a newcomer without recognizing her disguise. Qin Chuan recognized her immediately but did not expose her. She joined Object Hide-and-Seek, became a scallion, and concealed herself among vegetables using ten duplicates. After Yan eliminated her, she volunteered to become the Seeker 51 52 53.

Five rounds convinced her that the Game Hall could transform Shrek Academy’s cultivation. She reconsidered Yu Xiaogang’s instruction that Qin Chuan must die: killing him would destroy a place where people could grow stronger through entertainment. She also judged herself no match for him and chose cooperation instead 54.

Plants vs. Soul Beasts

Qin Chuan offered her a free round of Otherworld Survival despite her lacking the normally required Diamond Membership. Their scenario, Plants vs. Soul Beasts, offered one level for victory but imposed a two-level penalty for defeat. They endured nearly two hours of attacks before facing a hundred-thousand-year Titan Giant Ape. His plants killed the ape just two steps from the cottage, clearing the game and raising Liu Erlong to level eighty 57 58 59.

Proposal and Shrek Branch Negotiations

Afterward, Liu Erlong reaffirmed her promise to grant Qin Chuan a request provided it did not violate imperial law. He asked her to marry him and kissed her. Flustered, she requested time to consider rather than accepting immediately. She then revealed her identity and position, only for Qin Chuan to propose opening a Game Hall branch at Shrek Academy 59.

The next morning, she summoned Shrek’s teaching and administrative staff to advocate for the branch. Zhao Wuji, other teachers, and Yu Xiaogang opposed bringing a Spirit Hall business into the academy. Liu Erlong countered with her breakthrough and warned that young Soul Masters would choose the Game Hall over Shrek’s slow meditation-based training 59 60.

She values knowledge and theoretical understanding, qualities that originally attracted her to Yu Xiaogang. Qin Chuan impresses her by combining knowledge with demonstrable strength.
