  • Lynn left the two King Beasts to hold off the army and charged toward the hall, releasing Clown and Sin Lord from his System Space and asking for their strength.

Ch. 1782Lord of Death

Lynn left his allies to fight the Polluters and used the Captain’s Compass to enter the city, where the merfolk led him toward their decaying Master. As he descended underground, Lynn learned that the Captain’s end was near and that he needed help resisting Hell’s erosion.

  • The Sin Lord, the Clown Doll, and the transformed Giant Tree joined the battle against the Polluters while Lynn charged toward the barrier.
  • Lynn used the Compass from the Deep Sea to open the barrier and city gates, and the merfolk and undead recognized him as the one their Master had awaited.
  • A merfolk general caught the exhausted Lynn and told him the Jailers had trapped them after the Master’s spirit returned.
  • The general led Lynn through the hall and into an underground passage, explaining that the Captain’s condition had worsened over several eras and his end was near.

Ch. 1783Only you can halt my destruction

Lynn reached Captain Constantine’s true form aboard the decaying ship and learned that Raven lay beneath his throne. Constantine said Raven’s power, which shared Lynn’s source, had kept him alive and was the only thing that could halt his destruction.

  • The Merfolk general opened the rune gate and led Lynn to the ship where Constantine’s true form was hidden.
  • Lynn crossed the ship’s decaying deck and entered the hold, following the Compass through a domain filled with tormented souls.

Ch. 1785The Second King Beast to Fall into Chaos!

The Merfolk city’s barrier collapsed as the King Beasts broke through, and its defenders struggled to protect Lynn while he recovered. Swift One fell into chaos to block the enemy’s advance, giving his companions a chance to retreat into the city and rebuild their defenses.

  • Clown Doll rebuked Sin Lord for abandoning her people, then charged into battle as King Beasts broke through the barrier and Sin Lord cowered instead of fighting.
  • The one-armed Merfolk general ordered the release of the suppressed departed souls to slow the King Beasts attacking the city and the hall where Lynn was recovering.
  • Swift One hurled the wounded soul wolf to safety, then sacrificed himself and became a Chaos Creature that blocked his former brothers and eased pressure on the defenders.
  • Clown ordered a retreat to the city, and he and the soul wolf helped the Mother Tree of Desire escape before they attacked the beasts inside to buy time to restore the defenses.

Ch. 1786The laws of destruction and creation!

The King Beasts attacked the City while Scarlet Shadow used Scarlet Thunder to disrupt the Chaos Creature’s birth. Mother Tree of Desire revealed the powers of creation and destruction to destroy part of the King Beasts’ forces, then vanished, leaving only her Seed of Life as Clown hurled a fragment of primordial power at Scarlet Shadow.

  • Scarlet Shadow used Hell’s mechanisms to seize control of Swift One’s Chaos and raised the resulting abyss over the city.
  • Scarlet Shadow hurled the abyss toward the city, destroying Merfolk and undead imperial guards with its deadly light.
  • Clown prepared to transform himself into Chaos, but a giant azure wolf shoved him aside and plunged into the abyss.
  • The azure wolf created a second Chaos abyss that diverted the attack toward the distant seabed, where the two abysses merged and vanished.
  • Lynn emerged from the passage holding Raven’s corpse and asked, “What did you gain from this?”

Ch. 1788The Final Battle!

  • Lynn suppressed the Clown Curse’s whispers as the King Beasts tore Silia apart and devoured her soul.

Ch. 1791Only then can you protect them!

After the battle, Lynn realized that memories of the King Beasts who became Chaos would slowly disappear from everyone but him. He set out for the Border to reclaim Hell’s control and comforted the Sin Lord, telling her he wanted to become strong enough to protect his family.

  • Lynn told Clown that four King Beasts had died, but Clown had already forgotten them and the Deep Sea Devourer.
  • Lynn realized the erasure would gradually remove every memory and trace of those who had turned into Chaos.
  • The skeleton and Clown warned Lynn that Silia’s servants still controlled the Border, so they needed to leave at once.
  • Lynn recovered the scorched seed of the Mother Tree of Desire and put it in his System Space, resolving to repay her sacrifice.
  • Lynn found the Sin Lord hiding and crying, then reassured her that she had not been wrong to fear the battle.
  • Lynn told the Sin Lord he wanted his family to be cowards rather than die for him, and that he must become a wall to truly protect them.

Ch. 1792Hell Borderland!

Lynn reassured the Sin Lord and rallied the King Beasts and Constantine to join him against the calamity. They reached the border of the Endless Sea, where jailers attacked the barrier from outside, and Lynn asked whether they could lift the lockdown.

  • Lynn comforted the Sin Lord, who trembled as memories of her mother and the doomed march returned.
  • Lynn used the Trident to address the King Beasts, telling them to atone by fighting the calamity instead of dwelling on the Great Rebellion.

Ch. 1793Sky City!

  • Lynn asked Constantine and Clown how powerful they and the King Beasts could become without Hell’s restrictions, and Clown said the beasts could form an army capable of campaigning across the Main Universe.

Ch. 1794Collective Ascension!

Lynn used the Trident and his Firstborn Power to break the King Beasts’ connection to Hell and help dozens of them ascend. The newly ascended King Beasts charged Sky City, overpowering its defenses as their temporary protection and strength began to turn the battle.

  • Clown warned Lynn that the King Beasts could maintain their ascended power for about thirty minutes before Chaos threatened their bodies and souls.
  • Lynn raised the Trident and told the King Beasts he would suppress their curses and let them ascend for thirty minutes.

  • The ascended King Beasts used Firstborn Power to withstand Chaos attacks and charged Sky City.
  • Sky City’s defenses began to buckle as the King Beasts unleashed forbidden magic and Cursecraft.

Ch. 1795The battle for Sky City!

Lynn and the King Beasts breached Sky City's Barrier with Constantine's help, but the Rebels activated the fortress's power system and drove it toward the Boundary Gate as a sacrifice. Lynn and Clown raced to stop them while the remaining black-robed figure continued the ritual at the Temple.

  • Lynn told the King Beasts that the Rebels' minds could still be reached through their projections in the Sea of Loss, and a winged lion tore open Sky City's Barrier at the cost of his power and rank.
  • Constantine seized control of half the black-robed figures, turned them against their allies, and used them to disable the Barrier and open the way for the King Beasts.
  • The King Beasts stormed Sky City, but Lynn warned that the Boundary Gate to the Main Universe must not be opened.
  • The black-robed figures activated Sky City's power system and began driving the fortress into the Border as the Boundary Gate formed.

Ch. 1796Word-Made Law!

Lynn confronted the black-robed servant of the Polluter's army, who revealed that the invasion of the Material Universe had begun and that Lynn had been its target. As Constantine attacked the servant through the spirit world, the servant's power nearly destroyed him, and Constantine warned Lynn of the danger.

  • The black-robed leader sat on the Throne and invoked its authority as ascended King Beasts breached the Temple.
  • Lynn arrived with Clown and Constantine, identified the leader as a Polluter's servant, and learned that the Throne held Hell's authority.
  • The servant claimed that Lynn had been deliberately sent to Hell and that the full-scale invasion of the Material Universe had begun after Silia's failure.
  • Constantine attacked the servant's spirit, but the servant's law shattered part of Constantine's soul and forced him back into the Sea of Loss.
  • Constantine's body partly crumbled, and he warned Lynn to watch out.

Ch. 1797Say hello to your master!

Lynn realized the black-robed man’s power to wield truth came from a being beyond the rift and severed that connection with the Trident. With the man stripped of his rule power, Constantine invaded his spirit world and held a dagger to his throat.

  • The black-robed man invoked truth, blasting the charging King Beasts away and badly injuring himself, Constantine, and Lynn.
  • Clown warned Lynn that the gate was opening, while the wounded King Beasts charged again and the black-robed man used truth and Hell’s mechanisms to stop them.
  • Lynn traced the black-robed man’s power to a rule flowing through the beam from beyond the gate and realized the man was acting as a proxy.
  • Lynn hurled the Trident into the beam, severing the outside rule’s influence and stripping the black-robed man of his power.
  • Constantine invaded the black-robed man’s spirit world and held a spiritual dagger to his throat.

Ch. 1798Despair Beyond Reckoning!

After Constantine died, the King Beasts reclaimed the Temple but discovered Silia had barred them from controlling the Throne, leaving the Boundary Gate to open. As Polluters invaded, the King Beasts charged to fight, while Lynn stayed by the Throne and Constantine tried to halt Sky City.

  • Constantine lost the laws' support in his Spirit World and died, prompting the King Beasts to storm the Temple and kill the black-robed guards.
  • A King Beast seized the Throne's authority but was struck down by a restriction that prevented him from stopping the Boundary Gate from opening.
  • Lynn learned that only the Female Host and top jailers could wield the Western Sea's authority, but they were trapped outside the Barrier.
  • A mutated tentacle and Polluters emerged through the Boundary Gate, and the King Beasts charged to fight the invasion.
  • Clown rushed to attack the Barrier, while Constantine summoned undead from the Sea of Loss to catch Sky City as it hurtled toward the gate.

Ch. 1799He was the master of this Hell!

Lynn sat on the Western Sea’s Throne and discovered that, as the last Raven and a fragment of the Violet Great Lord, he was Hell’s true master. His authority restored control of Hell and stopped the Boundary Gate from opening, but the being beyond it recognized him and erupted in hatred.

  • Zuo Zuo promised to stay with Lynn, but he sat on the bloodstained Throne despite the danger of its Restriction.
  • Lynn’s will spread across the Endless Sea, weakening the beam and slowing the Boundary Gate as the Hell Barrier began to thin.
  • Clown and the King Beasts realized that Hell’s authority had returned to control, and one King Beast knelt before Lynn as the Great Lord of Violet.
  • Lynn explained that his gamble had paid off because he was the last Raven and a fragment of the Violet Great Lord, making him Hell’s true master.
  • Lynn’s power shattered the Hell Barrier and extinguished the beam, while the golden-eyed being beyond the Boundary Gate roared his name in fury.

Ch. 1800The knight who returned from the Abyss!
