Ch. 1821You guessed it! Psionics lessons!

Titan taught Lynn to control and compress his cells, then forced him through an exhausting physical training regimen. When Lynn returned home, Sir Awen appeared to announce that psionics lessons would last all night.

  • Titan showed Lynn how to gather and compress his cells to increase his strength and defenses.
  • Titan told Lynn that his calculating personality made the Flesh Dominator’s path a better fit than Titan’s berserker path, though cell control would help him regardless of his future specialty.
  • Titan ordered Lynn to run two hundred kilometers back and forth each day while carrying a mountain, forbidding him from using his powers.
  • Zuo Zuo dragged Lynn home after the grueling workout, and Lynn admitted he would keep training but hoped to sleep.
  • Sir Awen greeted Lynn and revealed that his psionics lessons would last all night.

Ch. 1822Giving you a few hundred years!

Sir Awen forced Lynn and Zuo Zuo into intensive psionic and combat training in the Sea of Loss, where time passed far faster than in reality. After hundreds of years of studying, Lynn still could not answer Sir Awen’s questions, so he gave him another hundred years.

  • Sir Awen trapped Lynn and brought him to the High Tower to explain psionic taboos and assign him a library’s worth of reading.
  • Sir Awen summoned Captain Constantine to take Lynn to the bottom of the Sea of Loss, where he could study for hundreds of years in a short time outside.
  • When Lynn tried to escape, Captain Constantine put him to sleep, and Sir Awen told Zuo Zuo that she would also receive a combat course.
  • Lynn and Zuo Zuo were sent into the Sea of Loss, where Lynn spent hundreds of years reading psionic theory.
  • Lynn failed to answer Sir Awen’s questions, so Sir Awen sent the ship deeper and gave him another hundred years to study.

Ch. 1823Anything but reading!

Lynn emerged from centuries of forced study in the Sea of Loss with psionic theory memorized but a physical aversion to books. Sir Awen promised to teach him practical psionics instead, aiming to build on what Titan Big Brother had taught him.

  • Sir Awen had Constantine snap his fingers to bring Lynn back from the Sea of Loss after countless centuries of study.
  • Sir Awen quizzed Lynn on psionic theory, and Lynn mechanically recited his lessons, including how psionics could affect reality and its theoretical ultimate limit.
  • Lynn continued droning through ancient academic texts until Constantine struck him on the head and restored his senses.
  • Lynn said he could not bear to read any more and vomited at the sight of Sir Awen's book.
  • Sir Awen reassured Lynn that he would teach him how to use psionics in practice, which could strengthen him alongside what Titan Big Brother had taught him.

Ch. 1824High-intensity training!

Lynn underwent intense physical and psionic training, learning to warp reality with his thoughts and strengthening his body. Sir Awen then tested him against three transcendent-level mechs, and Lynn emerged from their attacks at astonishing speed.

  • Titan trained Lynn’s body by day while Sir Awen taught him psionics by night, rapidly improving his abilities.
  • Lynn learned to teleport by thought and reshape objects, then Sir Awen warned him that prolonged use of psionics could strip away his emotions.
  • Lynn assessed his strength and agreed to test himself against three heavy mechs in Dark Night City’s mechanical base.
  • The mechs attacked Lynn with gunfire, chainsaws, explosives, and psychic assaults, but his hardened body withstood their weapons.
  • Lynn burst from the dust at incredible speed and appeared before one of the mechs, beyond the machines’ ability to track.

Ch. 1825Lynn's rank assessment!

Lynn effortlessly defeated three armored machines, and Sir Awen judged that his strength already exceeded Transcendent Tier. Sir Awen then tested him against three psionic mechanical humanoids, whose coordinated attacks wounded Lynn and forced him to retreat.

  • Lynn destroyed three armored machines with his enhanced speed and strength, then asked whether his power was Transcendent Tier.
  • Sir Awen praised Lynn’s progress and began a Lord Rank assessment using three Cyber Psionics User X5 Model units.
  • Lynn met one unit’s charge with a punch and sent it flying, while the other two vanished and restrained him with telekinesis.
  • A vanished unit reappeared and slashed Lynn’s throat with a dagger, prompting him to break free and accuse Sir Awen of cheating.
  • Sir Awen explained that the test simulated powerful territory lords and their high-rank weapons.

Ch. 1826Death Omen Rank Test!

Lynn easily defeated the Lord Rank Mechanical Humanoids and advanced to a Death Omen Rank test. Sir Awen introduced a new humanoid machine that felt strangely familiar to Lynn, leaving him poised to face it.

  • Lynn used psionics and reality-warping attacks to locate and destroy the three Mechanical Humanoids, clearing the Lord Rank test.
  • Sir Awen explained that fighters of the same rank could still threaten one another through specialized abilities and said Lynn was ready to attempt a higher rank.
  • Lynn agreed to challenge the Death Omen Rank test and identified the next rank as Death Omen.
  • Sir Awen raised the lift and revealed a black-cloaked humanoid machine with blue-glowing eyes, which Lynn found familiar.

Ch. 1827Cutting-edge confrontation!

Lynn fought Sir Awen’s black-robed Mechanical Unit and realized its physical strength and armor could withstand his attacks. After trying to destroy its Core Processor with psionics, Lynn discovered something inside the machine was threatening his mind as it seized his throat.

  • The Black-Robed Figure struck Lynn with overwhelming speed and strength, injuring his arm and sending him crashing into a wall.
  • Sir Awen explained that intelligent machines could mass-produce death omen rank units and that their technological advantages made them formidable below the level of deities.
  • Lynn abandoned the idea of strengthening his body further and used psionics to distort the surroundings and attack the machine.
  • Lynn phased his hand into the machine’s head and tried to crush its Core Processor, but found only a chilling substance inside.
  • The seemingly incapacitated machine grabbed Lynn by the throat as blood-red eyes appeared in his mental domain.

Ch. 1828You Declared War on the Seven Gods?

Lynn lost a strength test against his Trinity Frame, which Alice had been placed inside, but Sir Awen confirmed that Lynn had reached Death Omen-level strength. Sir Awen explained that Lynn needed to pursue a preliminary Trinity to face a future calamity, leaving Lynn to realize that they had declared war on the Seven Gods.

  • Sir Awen tested Lynn against his Trinity Frame, which Alice controlled, and Lynn was beaten despite flipping Sir Awen off.
  • Alice emerged from the frame and apologized, while Lynn forgave her and asked how she had escaped the Castle.
  • Sir Awen assessed Lynn’s baseline strength as roughly Death Omen level and said his gear and Firstborn Power could make him stronger.
  • Lynn considered relying on his flesh and psionic power instead of focusing on the Trinity Frame, but Sir Awen said that would not be enough to face the coming calamity.
  • Sir Awen said Lynn needed to achieve a preliminary Trinity and that they would do whatever it took, prompting Lynn to realize they had declared war on the Seven Gods.

Ch. 1829Hellfire Corridor!

Lynn learned that the war against the Mechanical Church had been raging for a month and rushed to join the fight. At Hellfire Corridor, the defenders faced a massive counterattack as the Colossus Brain was surrounded by three Mechanical Origins, while Lynn questioned whether a signal from Silver Fantasy was genuine.

  • Sir Awen told Lynn that the war had begun when his training started a month earlier.
  • The Mechanical Church launched a bombardment and mass assault on the defenders outside Hellfire Corridor, and Eve and the Witch God Head helped stabilize the line.
  • The Colossus Brain fought through the volcanic range, then discovered that three Mechanical Lifeforms had surrounded her.
  • Lynn learned that Titan Big Brother had left for the battlefield and that the last signal from Miss Machine Intelligence had arrived half a month earlier.
  • Lynn questioned whether Silver Fantasy had sent the signal herself or whether it was a trap.

Ch. 1830The God of Ten Thousand Machines' crash site!

Lynn learned that Silver Fantasy was likely beneath the Volcanic Range, where the God of Ten Thousand Machines had once fallen, and rushed to join the battle. After he arrived at the front, a cloaked Mechanical Church warship launched a surprise attack on the logistics base.

  • Sir Awen told Lynn that the Mechanical Church had been located in the Hellfire Corridor and that Silver Fantasy was probably beneath the Volcanic Range, the God of Ten Thousand Machines' crash site.
  • Lynn entered Dark Night City's Space Gate despite Sir Awen's apology for hiding Silver Fantasy's signal from him.
  • Lynn arrived at the Volcanic Range, saw the fighting, and decided to find the Colossus and the others before engaging the Mechanical Church.
  • Lynn detected an enormous cloaked warship approaching the base and warned everyone.
  • The warship destroyed the base's air defenses with annihilation beams as a barrage of black warheads descended.

Ch. 1831First battle!

Lynn used his newly strengthened psionics to protect the Logistics Supply Base from a stealth warship’s bombardment, then teleported above the hidden vessel and shattered its energy shield with his Trident. He had exposed the warship, but the battle was still underway.

  • Lynn used psionics to distort space around the base, causing the first wave of missiles to vanish into the distortion.
  • He redirected the first wave into the second, destroying thousands of missiles in a massive series of explosions.
  • Lynn sensed the still-invisible warship and decided to bring it down before it could attack again.
  • He teleported a thousand meters into the sky and struck the warship’s hexagonal energy shield with his fist, but failed to break through.
  • Lynn drove his Trident into the shield, shattering the barrier across the warship.

Ch. 1832Flesh spreading through the warship!

Lynn infiltrated an enormous warship and used his spreading flesh to destroy it from within. He left the Night Doctors with orders to salvage the wreck and reserve its most valuable parts for him.

  • The Night Doctors saw a massive warship appear above their base after its shield shattered and rallied to defend the base.
  • Lynn avoided the warship’s living-metal surface and cannon barrage by cutting into the hull and entering its corridors.
  • Lynn unleashed his Flesh Core and Colossus Heart, spreading flesh through the warship and crushing its Mechanical Humanoids and systems.
  • Lynn’s flesh overwhelmed the central computer and seized the warship’s core, while tentacles tore through its hull and weapons.
  • The damaged warship crashed into the Wasteland and broke apart, and the Night Doctors rushed to the wreckage.
  • Lynn told the Night Doctors to dismantle the warship, save its most valuable contents for him, and take the remaining materials to Sir Awen.

Ch. 1833Nanite Swarm Storm!

After Lynn captured a Warship, it disintegrated into a Nanite Swarm storm that consumed nearby Night Doctors and began eroding Lynn’s psionic shield. Fearing the Mechanical Church could mass-produce these Warships, Lynn unleashed nuclear bombs and shielded the surrounding area to stop the swarm from spreading.

  • Lynn prepared to join Eve and Witch God Aunt after boasting about his upgraded strength and ordering the other units to handle the captured Warship.
  • The Warship and its data board dissolved into dust, and a Nanite Swarm storm disintegrated dozens of Night Doctors while Lynn rescued hundreds into his System Space.
  • Lynn recognized the particles as a Nanite Swarm storm and realized that ordinary damage could not stop the Warship from remaining combat-effective.
  • Worried the Mechanical Church could replicate the technology, Lynn detonated more than a dozen nuclear bombs and enclosed the area in a vast psionic shield.

Ch. 1834Let me end this war!

Lynn destroyed a Mechanical Nanite Swarm inside a sealed space, then reached the Hellfire Corridor and ordered the exhausted Night Doctors to abandon their attritional battle against the Mechanical Church. He opened a Light Gate for their withdrawal and prepared to change the course of the war.

  • Lynn bombarded the sealed space with nuclear weapons to burn the Mechanical Nanite Swarms, though he could not tell whether any had escaped.
  • Lynn realized the Mechanical Church’s microscopic technology could pose a grave threat and hurried to warn the front lines.
  • At the Hellfire Corridor, the Witch God Head and the Night Doctors struggled through the Mechanical Church’s relentless thirteenth-wave assault.
  • Lynn appeared on the battlefield and redirected the incoming Particle Beams away from the Night Doctors’ positions.
  • Lynn ordered the Night Doctors to retreat in small groups rather than continue fighting a conventional war of attrition.
  • Lynn drove his Trident into the ground and opened a huge Light Gate across the battlefield.

Ch. 1835A technological leap!

Lynn evacuated Dark Night City's forces into the Strange Otherworld inside his Trident as the Mechanical Church overwhelmed the battlefield. There, he learned that Colossus and Dollhouse were carrying out a plan inside the Hellfire Corridor, and he suspected the Volcanic Range concealed the source of the Church's advanced technology.

  • Lynn moved the Night Doctors into his Trident's Strange Otherworld, then vanished with the city's combat forces as Mechanical Fighters attacked.
  • The Mechanical Church's voice addressed Lynn and looked forward to their coming war.
  • Lynn reunited with Eve and the Witch God Head, then asked where Colossus and Dollhouse were.
  • The Witch God Head explained that Colossus was fighting several of the Seven Gods while Dollhouse infiltrated the Mechanical Church's core area.
  • The Witch God Head described how the Church's endless forces and rapid fortification had driven their army back after a month of warfare.
  • Lynn recalled the Church's unfamiliar machines and wondered whether something beneath the Volcanic Range had caused its technological leap.

Ch. 1836It Felt Just Like Coming Home

Lynn learned that Hell’s suppression was weakening and that the Mechanical Church might be recovering advanced weapons, putting the Colossus and others at risk. He set out to find them and infiltrated the Hellfire Corridor, where his Left Hand joined him in watching the surroundings.

  • The Witch God Head showed Lynn the wound left by a new Mechanical Church weapon and suggested that Hell’s suppression had weakened over the past month.
  • Lynn and the Witch God Head reasoned that the God of Ten Thousand Machines might be retrieving and mass-producing advanced Main Universe technology.
  • The Witch God Head told Lynn that the Colossus had cut off contact after encountering several of the Seven Gods.
  • Lynn decided to find the Colossus and the others in the Volcanic Range, reassuring the Witch God Head that he could infiltrate the enemy’s territory.
  • Lynn appeared in a hidden corner of the Hellfire Corridor and concealed himself in the soil as his Left Hand produced an eyeball with Calamity to scout alongside him.

Ch. 1837No longer who he once was!

Lynn and Zuo Zuo infiltrated a battlefield transformed by the Mechanical Church’s nanotechnology, but Lynn was detected and attacked. He emerged from system space and fought back openly, confident that his newfound strength let him face the Church head-on.

  • Lynn and Zuo Zuo watched the Mechanical Church recover battlefield wreckage and rapidly build factories with nanomachines.
  • Lynn realized the Church’s nanite swarms covered the battlefield, and an energy attack forced him to retreat into system space.
  • Lynn destroyed the microscopic machines clinging to him and spotted a Black Star Hive emerging from the black mist.
  • Lynn told Zuo Zuo he no longer needed to be cautious and prepared to break through the Church’s defenses.
  • Lynn charged out of system space, blocked the Black Star Hive’s cannon barrage with his trident, and destroyed nearby spatial confinement devices as the machines swarmed him.

Ch. 1838We have nanomachines too!

Lynn hurled the Trident through the Death Star Hive, then was struck by Star Embracer’s devastating attack and escaped into the Strange Otherworld. He revealed that nanomachines made from his cells remained under his control, giving him a way to infiltrate the Mechanical Church.

  • Lynn warped reality with his psionics and twice pierced the Death Star Hive with his Trident.
  • Star Embracer attacked Lynn with a star-like fireball that vaporized the area around the Hellfire Corridor.
  • After Lynn vanished, a mechanical figure ordered maximum defenses and warned that Lynn might infiltrate the core area.
  • A stray wisp of wind carrying nanomachines drifted toward the Volcanic Range as the ruined area was rebuilt.
  • In the Strange Otherworld, Zuo Zuo scolded the badly burned Lynn, who replaced his damaged eyes with the Eye of Cthulhu and Curse Eye.
  • Lynn told Zuo Zuo that he had let the enemy consume his cells, allowing him to control nanomachines built from his flesh.

Ch. 1839Nano infiltration!

Lynn sent a covert swarm of nanomachines into the Mechanical Church’s territory and used his transdimensional link with Colossus to locate her inside the Volcanic Range. He learned she was still fighting deep within the mechanized passage, severely wounded and unable to heal.

  • Lynn explained that the Mechanical Church’s immature, region-based control of its vast nanite swarm would likely conceal his small group of independent nanomachines.
  • Lynn and Zuo Zuo set out to find Colossus and discover what the Mechanical Church was doing beneath the Volcanic Range.
  • Lynn’s nanomachines slipped through the Hellfire Corridor’s defenses amid the constant breakdown and replacement of other units.
  • Lynn used his transdimensional sense with Colossus to guide the nanomachines toward her location.
  • Deep inside the Volcanic Range, Colossus raced through a mechanized passage with a grave chest wound that would not heal as an unseen pursuer called after her.

Ch. 1840The Digital God!

Colossus Brain fought Dragon Head and Extinction after they offered her a place in the Purification Council in exchange for helping them achieve the Trinity. When an unseen force weakened her attacks, Dragon Head defeated her, and she fell into the volcano, murmuring about the Digital God.

  • Dragon Head and Extinction cornered Colossus Brain, whose chest wound remained severe, and Dragon Head admitted the Machine Intelligence Civilization considered her a threat to its control of the microscopic realm.
  • Colossus Brain questioned why they were still researching the microscopic realm after the Digital God had emerged, and Dragon Head offered her a place in the Purification Council if she joined their effort to achieve the Trinity.
  • Colossus Brain rejected the offer and attacked Dragon Head, damaging his claws and driving him backward through the active volcano with a series of powerful blows.
  • An unseen influence suddenly immobilized Colossus Brain and weakened her next attack, allowing Dragon Head to strike her with overwhelming force.
  • Colossus Brain crashed into the volcano and let the magma cover her body as she murmured, “Digital...”
