It was embarrassing even to say it aloud.

Stussy smiled.
"I've already shown you so much sincerity."
"But you don't seem to welcome me, Boss Hale Nock."
Hale Nock chuckled.
"What do you think?"
His index finger kept tapping the armrest of his throne.
Anyone who learned something like this would be in a foul mood. He had dominated the Underworld for decades, only to discover that its biggest intelligence broker worked for the World Government.
Didn't that make everyone in this so-called Underworld, every one of its kings, a joke?
They were all monkeys under the World Government's watch. How could he possibly feel good about that?
Stussy shrugged.
"I've come with a great deal of sincerity."
"Otherwise, I wouldn't have told you so openly."
"After all, we have a common enemy."
Hale Nock said darkly,
"A common enemy?"
"My only enemy right now is the Navy..."
After all, only a handful of senior World Government officials knew that the World Government and the Navy had split. Most of the world was still in the dark.
Unaware of that, Hale Nock couldn't quite figure out what the World Government was trying to do.
Below him, Stussy smiled.
"Exactly."
"The Navy."
As she spoke, she bent down and opened the small case at her feet, revealing a thick stack of documents.
Stussy pushed it forward slightly, then straightened up and said,
"These contain layout information for some of the Navy's islands."
"As well as a comprehensive analysis of the Navy's targets and Sakazuki's objectives."
"The World Government is providing all of this free of charge."
