Half a year had passed since Galahad joined the Round Table. A few busybodies among its members had also unearthed his identity as Lancelot's illegitimate son.
Some had asked Galahad for confirmation and learned of Lancelot's disgraceful deed: pulling up his trousers and abandoning Princess Elaine and their son, Galahad. (She was not Lancelot's mother, Queen Elaine; the two merely shared a name.)
But later, when the Round Table knights actually confronted Lancelot, they learned that Princess Elaine had gone so far as to lace both their drinks with an aphrodisiac in order to sleep with him.
All several of the Round Table knights, Sovell included, could do was sigh-

It was also not long after Galahad joined the Round Table.
Across Britain and even Ireland, the Age of Gods began showing signs of decline once again. It was not just the humans of the Age of Gods who were being rejected, but all life throughout Britain.
Countless flowers and grasses withered, trees died, and Demon Beasts and people occasionally weakened until they perished.
All of this pointed to one thing:
The Mystery naturally emanating from three Holy Swords and two Holy Spears was no longer enough to sustain the Age of Gods throughout the British Isles, including Ireland.
To remedy the situation, the ministers offered all manner of proposals. In the end, two plans received the most support:
The first plan came from one of the ministers.
-Seek out the legendary miracle, the Holy Grail.
Use the blood of Christ within the Holy Grail and its immense power of faith to forcibly reverse the dire state of Britain's Age of Gods.
The second plan came from Sovell.
-Actively hasten the decline of the Age of Gods.
Drain the land's magic power to accelerate the
