Background / History

Origin and attempted rebirth

Snow Girl originated from ten-thousand-year glacial ice that gained sentience. As a Heavenly Snow Woman and a daughter of the Far North, she cultivated for more than six hundred thousand years, but faced certain death at her approaching seven-hundred-thousand-year heavenly tribulation 7 41 158.

To escape that fate, she began transferring herself into a hundred-thousand-year Snow Lotus with little intelligence. Her intended path was to restart cultivation, attract an ice-aligned deity’s attention, and ascend through divine trials. She also hoped to make Ice Empress her Wisdom Soul Ring and bring her into the Divine Realm 7.

Rescue and human life

Three Level 9 Soul Engineers attacked her during the vulnerable transformation at Ice God Lake, damaging the lotus and the portion of her soul already transferred into it. Ice Empress used Huo Yuhao’s body to unleash the Ice Explosion Technique, fatally injuring the attackers; Snow Girl then crushed them with a great hand of white mist 7.

After agreeing to accompany Huo Yuhao, she received treatment for her damaged soul. Rather than immediately complete her transformation, she first used the Snow Lotus to heal his severely injured body. His Resurrection Spell subsequently gave her a true human body while preserving her memories as Snow Empress 8 111.

Huo Yuhao planned her new cultivation path using his previous life’s experience. Unlike that earlier life, he did not ask her to sacrifice herself, allowing her to retain the bloodline power that drove her rapid recovery 13 14 54.

Previous-life counterpart

In Huo Yuhao’s previous life, Snow Girl’s attempt at human transformation failed. He rescued her from Mingde Hall’s laboratory, and Electrolux helped her become a baby Snow Girl Soul Spirit. Huo Yuhao later recognized that the tender expressions he had occasionally seen from that spirit reflected feelings he had not understood at the time 157.

That Snow Girl eventually became a Third-Level God and accompanied Huo Yuhao into Supreme God-level battles. He regarded his own circumstances under the Tang Family as having held back her potential 157.

Her determination also extends to cultivation: she trains whenever possible and refuses to abandon her divine trial even after Di Tian wounds her 14 22 165.

Her attachment to Huo Yuhao combines protectiveness, trust, and playful possessiveness. She checks him for injuries after his matches, wants to punish the Dai Family for his previous-life suffering, and pinches his waist when he teases others or embarrasses her. Nevertheless, she accepts his warnings about dangerous opponents rather than insisting on revenge 15 17 64 157.

Becoming human does not erase her soul-beast loyalties. She readily agrees not to kill Di Tian and argues that intelligent soul beasts understand empathy through their long experience of hardship and survival.
