[Mo Yu: Cousin, as soon as the event started, I arranged for our Alliance members to run several rounds of tests. We identified a few key event mechanics.
First, Shadow Executioners do indeed forcibly spawn after a vehicle remains stationary for more than half an hour, but their tier is determined by the player's own tier, not the tier of the highway region.
Ten of our guys have advanced to Tier Three. Although their vehicles were parked on Tier Two highway sections, every Shadow Executioner they attracted was Tier Four.
Second, Shadow Executioners have a 100% chance of dropping Aurora Shards when killed. Ordinary Shadow Wraiths have a very low drop rate. Based on my figures, it's around 5%.
Third, although the system has locked Aurora Shards out of the trading interface, preventing remote trades, players can still trade them face-to-face.
Fourth, the event's monster rules don't extend into our Alliance Base. Parking and idling inside the Alliance Base won't cause the system to spawn Shadow Executioners.
Fifth, once an ordinary Shadow Monster or a Shadow Executioner targets a player, it will stay locked onto them and keep pursuing them. Even if the player retreats into the Alliance Base, the monster will remain outside and refuse to leave.
Sixth, when two or more players form a party and park together, the tier of the Shadow Executioners that spawn is determined directly by the highest-tier player in the party.
In other words, if a Tier Two player and a Tier Three player party up and park together, two Tier Four Executioners will spawn simultaneously after half an hour.
Seventh, if a player enters one of the highway's designated safe zones or service areas, no monsters will spawn inside. However, if they stay there for over thirty minutes, a Shadow Executioner will
