"Don't rush. We haven't finished our plan yet!"
Kenjaku spoke calmly.
Despite the unexpected changes to the plan, he still hoped to see it through.
"Don't worry. Tomorrow, I'll go straight to the school and execute those people one after another in front of Yuji Itadori, forcing him to propose binding vow terms that favor Sukuna!"
Mahito spoke with complete confidence.
Although his failure to kill Junpei's Mother as intended had left a slight flaw in the plan, that minor regret wouldn't matter as long as the ultimate outcome remained unchanged.
"All right, I'll leave it to you!"
After discussing everything, they relaxed, quietly gazing out into the sea breeze before lying down at their leisure to enjoy this moment of peace.
Meanwhile, after Yuanfang returned to the dormitory, Satoru Gojo told him that Yuji Itadori was still alive.
He also told him that the woman from tonight was actually the mother of the boy Itadori and the others had met earlier.
Mahito probably had designs on Itadori, so he asked Yuanfang to go support them tomorrow in case anything went wrong.
Concerned that Junpei's Mother might be in danger, Satoru Gojo decided to bring her back to Jujutsu High for protection first.
Naturally, Yuanfang wouldn't refuse Satoru Gojo's request. After all, that hateful bastard had nearly sent him to an early grave.
No matter what, he had to find a chance to strike back and avenge his humiliation.
Besides, Itadori would be there this time. He could use him to attack the enemy's soul directly, which would allow Yuanfang to absorb even more cursed energy.
Early the next morning, Yuanfang arrived at the school and quietly hid himself.
He knew full well that although his domain could conceal his body, it was utterly useless against powerful cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers.
So while using his domain to conceal himself, he also found a safe place to hide.
Yuanfang waited patiently for Mahito, silently cursing:
That sneaky bastard. I'll make him pay when he gets here!
If Yuanfang's own plan hadn't required Mahito's power, he would never have tolerated him for this long. He would have found a way to get rid of him already.
This time, Yuanfang decided to teach Mahito a harsh lesson and show him what he was capable of.
Noon had passed, but Mahito was still nowhere to be seen.
Yuanfang pondered whether he would have to wait a few more days before he could deal with Mahito.
Suddenly, a Curtain enveloped the entire school like a vast net.
Seeing this, Yuanfang understood immediately. Mahito and the others were probably worried that Satoru Gojo would discover their plan, so they had rushed to put it into motion ahead of schedule.
The moment the Curtain appeared, Itadori, who had just arrived to check on Junpei, noticed it.
Worried about the students inside, Itadori called Nanami, then raced into the school.
Nanami, who had been dealing with Mahito's transfigured humans in the sewers, remained composed after taking the call.
That was because Satoru Gojo had told him Yuanfang was already at the school to provide support and could respond to any sudden developments.
Inside the gym, Mahito was beguiling Junpei with honeyed words, urging him to slaughter everyone who had bullied him.
Junpei, who had not experienced his mother's death, was deeply conflicted.
Although he knew these people deserved to die a thousand times over, he couldn't quite bring himself to do it.
"Do you really want to keep living like this until they hurt the people you truly care about?"
Mahito's words reminded him that the guy standing before him had recently said his mother was rather attractive. If Junpei took him home, he might stop bullying him from then on!
Anger instantly filled Junpei's eyes. A small jellyfish flew out from behind him, two venomous stingers on its tentacles.
It thrust them toward the neck of the guy before him.
"Heh, yes, that's it!"
Mahito was delighted to see his scheme succeed.
"Stop, Junpei!"
Just then, Itadori kicked open the gym doors and shouted.
"Itadori!"
At the sight of Itadori, Junpei's attack stopped abruptly, and he stood at a loss.
"I don't know what your motives are, but there must be some reason behind this!
But is that really enough reason to throw away this life? If people's hearts are nothing but counterfeits, can you say that openly to that person?"
Although he felt there was something strange about the guy standing beside Junpei, Itadori believed his first priority was to convince Junpei not to do something utterly foolish.
Hearing Itadori's words, Junpei immediately pictured his mother's warm, gentle smile.
He grew increasingly confused and lost, beginning to question whether what he was doing was right.
"Don't listen to him. He can't possibly understand the pain you've endured. What right does he have to judge you?"
A sly, wicked smile curled Mahito's lips as he gently patted Junpei's shoulder, continuing to manipulate him.
Just then, Itadori finally realized that the person before him was the cursed spirit Nanami had told him about.
He immediately cried out to Junpei in alarm:
"Run, Junpei! I don't know what your relationship with this guy is, but he's murdered countless innocent people. Get out of here!"
With that, Itadori immediately charged at Mahito, ready to rescue Junpei.
Unfortunately, before he could get close, one of Mahito's hands grew enormous and seized him, lifting him into the air.
Junpei froze as well, suddenly recalling how Mahito had toyed with those people. Was he really a good person?
"Junpei, you're fairly smart, but sometimes thinking too deeply leads to worse consequences than not thinking enough!"
As he spoke, a mocking smile curled Mahito's lips, and he continued:
"And you're a perfect example. Junpei, you're the biggest fool after all those people you consider fools! That's why you're going to die. Idle Transfiguration!"
As he watched the fear, rage, and defiance mingle on Junpei's face, Mahito's delight was beyond words.
After all, he had spent so long playing along with this boy for two reasons: first, to obtain binding vow terms favorable to himself from Sukuna and Itadori; second, to see what wonderful expression Junpei, whom he had kept in the dark all this time, would make when he learned the truth.
"No! Don't!"
Itadori struggled desperately to break free of Mahito's tight grip, screaming at the top of his lungs.
Unfortunately, the gap in their strength was far too great. No matter how hard Itadori tried, he couldn't readily escape.
Helpless, he could only let out that desperate, powerless cry.
Yet, unexpectedly, after two long seconds of waiting, Junpei's body did not change as anticipated.
Itadori froze, and Mahito's face filled with shock. Only Junpei stood there looking bewildered, unsure what to do.
