The three of them, who were eating grilled meat, saw Aokiji's expression change drastically and his face break out in a cold sweat. They were utterly baffled.

"Nothing." Aokiji brushed it off and returned to the subject. "What did you mean when you said he became an idiot?"

"Literally. From what I know, it seemed like he suddenly went insane."

Aokiji saw through it clearly and sensed something fishy.

Wasn't this probably going to be staged as an attack on the road, shifting the blame elsewhere or dumping the responsibility on someone else? Both of those men had that kind of interest in Tsunade, yet without exception, every one of them had kicked the bucket.

Thinking of that guy named Dan later on, Aokiji had every reason to believe it.

Tsunade was like a jellyfish. She looked soft, bouncy, and tempting to touch, but she was poisonous. Whoever touched her died.

For a moment, Aokiji felt immensely relieved by his wise decision to keep his distance instead of pursuing Tsunade back then.

Aokiji said blandly, "I'm full."
