Su Tiantian glanced at Zhaozhao, then looked back at Zhao Xun. "You two get along pretty well?"
Her tone was teasing, and she looked ready to enjoy a good show.
"Pretty well." Zhao Xun nodded. "We shared a compartment in mid-November."
"Mm-hmm." Zhaozhao sat down on berth four and agreed with him. "Mr. A Shui took part in a Platform Game and a Dream Game, while I only participated in one Dream Game. I thought he would move to a carriage farther up front. I didn't expect us to still end up together after changing compartments."
"We're at the point in the rankings where the gaps in points between players keep getting wider," Su Tiantian explained to Zhaozhao with a smile. "Even moving up one place isn't that easy anymore."
"Oh, I see." As if something had occurred to her, Zhaozhao slapped her forehead. "You're right. At our current ranking level, players who arrived in different batches must be mixed together. That really would make larger gaps in points more likely."
"Exactly." Su Tiantian nodded, then asked Zhaozhao, "You moved up several places after just one Dream Game. You must have earned quite a few points, right?"
Zhaozhao smiled shyly. "I just got lucky. I completed one main quest, two side quests, and one hidden mission. That's how I managed to save up a fair number of points all at once."

Indeed, she had been lucky in every sense of the word.
"By the way, I still don't know your name." Su Tiantian blinked at Zhaozhao. "I'm Tiantian."
Zhaozhao gave her a sweet smile. "Hi, Tiantian. I'm Zhaozhao."
"Hey, could you stop talking?" the male player in berth three complained irritably. "It's late. Maybe you don't want to sleep, but I do."
