"Oh," Zhao Xun said.
He hadn't expected another Platform Game on the 28th. The schedule was pretty tight.
After a moment's thought, he asked Zhaozhao, "So did the Platform Game only end on the 30th?"
"Yes." Zhaozhao nodded. "I'd already come out of my Dream Game by then, and I heard the announcement."
Understanding crossed Zhao Xun's face.
Almost three days fell within the normal duration of a Platform Game.
It just happened to run right up to the last day of the month.
If the game ended early, that would be fine. If not, the players would have to return at midnight.
But the rankings were usually updated half an hour early on the last day of the month. If those players only returned at midnight, he wondered how their points would count toward the rankings.
The thought merely flickered through Zhao Xun's mind. It had little to do with him, so he didn't dwell on it and soon turned his attention elsewhere.
He got out of bed and went to find Wu Wei first.
But he didn't see Wu Wei, only A Jie.
"The boss went to join the Platform Game," A Jie told Zhao Xun, then asked, "Did you need something from him?"
After knowing Zhao Xun this long, he no longer disliked him as much as he had at first, though he wouldn't call their relationship friendly.
Still, they could hold a normal conversation without any trouble.
"Nothing in particular." Zhao Xun waved a hand and turned to leave.
Su Tiantian and Wu Wei were in the same game. Wu Wei could only pray that their interests didn't directly conflict. That way, he still had a chance of coming back alive.
Zhao Xun hoped Wu Wei would return alive. After all, he hadn't used [Devour] on
