They carried vast quantities of minerals mined by mining stations across various systems, consolidated on the mining planet Kui Su Three IV, and then hauled back to the Ring World by the transport fleet.
The transport fleet spent another half month crossing the vast stretch of space between the Hyperlane exit and the Ring World, then swept past the Alpha Ring World segment and headed straight for the space above the Delta Ring World segment.
The Delta Segment had suffered the worst damage all those years ago, but the construction crews had still found a way to clear a large open area. The transport fleet landed there, and the Empire's construction crews began building a transport passage beside it.
It led all the way down to the underground Cybrex War Forge.
