Xi Yan shouted the message over the communications channel. Cross-shaped ships flashed rhythmically, forming an inescapable net behind him. It looked as though he had brought every fleet the Empire currently possessed.
Last time, he had made threats. This time, he had actually brought his fleets over to show off his might.
Xi Yan would not let the Keepers of Knowledge's humiliation slide. Once, he had been meek and timid. Now, he hit back hard. Any provocation against the Empire would meet with the harshest punishment.
To keep his promise-and fearing he might not have enough firepower-Xi Yan had summoned most of his fleets and massed them along the Keepers of Knowledge's border.
The Empire's interior was left almost undefended, but no empire foolish enough to try anything dared make a move. The Empire could rapidly produce a new fleet in an extremely short time.
And so Xi Yan led this unprecedented armada out of his territory in a grand procession, heading straight for the Moranokshiu Empire. Then he parked his fleets at the Hyperlane entrance and began delivering an endless stream of diplomatic insults.
