• Latios began special training for Ye Qing's Pokémon while Ye Qing joined his family and explained Mewtwo's forms and relationship with him.

• Mewtwo appeared in the yard in its Y form, and Ye Qing and the other Pokémon greeted him with admiration.

Ye Qing asked Su Yiqin to help investigate the shipwreck connected to the GS Ball, then headed toward the wreck with her. At Luo Moyun’s funeral, Luo Zhengang vowed revenge on Ye Qing, and Old Master Luo knocked him down for refusing to face reality.

• Psyduck drunkenly asked Mewtwo to teach him psychic powers so he could become a badass and pick up girls, but Mewtwo told him to get lost.
• Mewtwo asked Ye Qing to find Legendary Pokémon that could take a beating, then warned him to keep his head down for a while.
• Ye Qing met Su Yiqin and asked her to investigate the ship tied to the GS Ball and take him to its wreck.
• Su Yiqin learned that the private ship sank during wartime after wild Pokémon attacked it, and she and Ye Qing flew toward the wreck.
• At Luo Moyun’s burial, Luo Zhengang blamed Ye Qing for his son’s death and swore revenge, so Old Master Luo kicked him down.

Ye Qing and Su Yiqin traveled to a sheltered harbor with Uncle Hu to search for a shipwreck, preparing to dive with Water-type Pokémon. As storm clouds gathered, Uncle Hu stopped them before they reached the site.

• Old Master Luo recognized that the Pokémon League would likely protect Ye Qing, while Luo Tiangang and the Ghost-type Elite Four watched and Team R's order to eliminate Ye Qing remained in force.
• Ye Qing and Su Yiqin arrived at the harbor and met Uncle Hu, who was impressed by Ye Qing's Flash Overlord Garchomp.
• Uncle Hu gave Ye Qing and Su Yiqin Deep-Sea Breathing Apparatuses and led them toward the shipwreck, said to lie a few hundred meters underwater.
• Ye Qing released Milotic for the dive and had Garchomp keep watch above the water.

Ye Qing and Su Yiqin descended with Uncle Hu to search for a shipwreck, while a badly wounded Celebi emerged from Spacetime Ripples in the Ye family courtyard. At the seabed, Dhelmise ambushed the group, and Ye Qing sent Milotic to protect Su Yiqin.

• Uncle Hu led Ye Qing and Su Yiqin underwater inside bubbles made by their Primarina, with Milotic staying beside Ye Qing.
• A wounded Celebi stumbled out of Spacetime Ripples in the Ye family courtyard, and the two Little Planes used Heal Pulse on it.
• The group traveled across a luminous seabed, where Milotic knocked away a Sharpedo that lunged at him.
• Uncle Hu stopped near the shipwreck, but Dhelmise attacked with its enormous anchor, knocking his Gyarados unconscious and trapping his Primarina.
• Dhelmise swung another anchor at Su Yiqin, and Ye Qing ordered Milotic to use Iron Tail against it.

Ye Qing, Su Yiqin, and Uncle Hu continued exploring the shipwreck despite the danger and defeated the two Dhelmise guarding it. With the nearby wild Pokémon driven off, Ye Qing asked Uncle Hu where the GS Ball had been found.

• Milotic and Uncle Hu's Primarina repelled the anchors, and Uncle Hu warned that stronger wild Pokémon might guard the shipwreck.
• Ye Qing decided to continue exploring, and Uncle Hu led him and Su Yiqin across the seabed toward the wreck.
• The group found the century-old shipwreck and two Dhelmise clinging to its hull.
• Ye Qing sent Milotic after one Dhelmise while Uncle Hu and Su Yiqin fought the other; Milotic defeated hers with Hypnosis and Ice Beam.
• The group drove away the remaining wild Pokémon, and Ye Qing showed Uncle Hu the GS Ball and asked where it had been found.

Ye Qing searched a sunken ship with Gardevoir and found a mysterious Hide Scroll, then Mew suddenly teleported him home. There he discovered an unconscious Celebi and began examining the scroll’s painting, wondering whether Celebi had traveled from another time and space.

• Ye Qing and Gardevoir searched the wreck’s passenger cabins and found a Hide Scroll in a battered backpack.
• Mew appeared above the sea and teleported Su Yiqin and Uncle Hu to the docks in Alto Mare, while taking Ye Qing home.
• Ye Qing found an unconscious, weakened Celebi in his courtyard and carried it to his room.
• Psyduck ignored Ye Qing’s questions and strode into the living room, leaving Ye Qing puzzled about Celebi’s sudden arrival.
• Ye Qing washed the Hide Scroll and examined its indistinct painting, considering whether Celebi had come from another time and space.

Ye Qing suspected that Celebi had brought him a thousand years into the past and prepared for the journey while Celebi recovered. When Celebi woke and asked for help saving its clan, Ye Qing agreed, but learned Celebi might not have the energy to bring Legendary or Mythical Pokémon along.

• Ye Qing studied a picture and suspected it showed Gardevoir, Infernape, himself, and Celebi from a thousand years in the past.
• Ye Qing pressured the Dragon Tamer into obtaining six Black Balls, learned the wanted notices for Xie Yu and the other two had been withdrawn, and considered recruiting the Legendary Pokémon Kyurem to train with his big brother.
• Ye Qing received ten Black Balls containing Healing Spray and Exclusive Pokéblocks, then transferred his Pokémon into them.
• Celebi woke up and, through Diancie's translation, asked Ye Qing to help its clan, which was in trouble.
• Ye Qing agreed to help Celebi and asked Mew to bring the Genesect Army, but Celebi warned it might only be able to take a few ordinary Pokémon.

Ye Qing agreed to travel to the past with Celebi to rescue its group and gathered supplies for the journey. He selected five Pokémon to accompany him, and Celebi opened a rift in spacetime as they prepared to leave.

• Celebi revealed its desperate hope of rescuing its group from bandits, and Ye Qing agreed to go after making preparations.
• Ye Qing worried about how changing the past might affect his family, then reasoned that his journey could already be part of history.
• Ye Qing bought food, clothing, medicine, and other supplies, left his parents a note, and asked Mew to stay behind.

Ye Qing and Celebi traveled through time to a dangerous primeval forest, where Celebi passed out and Ye Qing encountered an ancient Manectric and a group of villagers. After the villagers tried to ambush him, Ye Qing’s Pokémon subdued them, and he began questioning them about where he had arrived.

• Celebi brought Ye Qing through a time tunnel, but arrived separately and fainted from exhaustion.
• Gardevoir detected a Manectric’s ambush and held it with Confusion until Infernape knocked it out with Focus Punch.
• Ye Qing flew above the forest, followed a river, and found three men walking along a rough road with Grass-type Pokémon.
• Ye Qing pretended to be lost, but Gardevoir sensed the men’s hostile intent and sent them flying.
• Gengar knocked out the men’s Nuzleaf, and Gardevoir restrained the men while Ye Qing demanded honest answers.

Ye Qing interrogated and killed three bandits, then traveled through the mountains looking for the village chief, Master Wang, who made Berry Balls. He reached the village and claimed to be Master Wang’s disciple so the guards would let him in.

• Ye Qing used Gardevoir to expose the bandits’ lies, and Gengar killed them after learning there was a nearby village whose chief was named Wang.
• Ye Qing and his Pokémon Teleported toward the village, fought off attacking Ekans, and followed Garchomp’s tracking to a guarded mountain path.
• Ye Qing told the guards he was Master Wang’s disciple, and they let him enter the village.

Ye Qing recognized the mountain village as the Peach Blossom Spring he had visited in the future and met its village chief, Uncle Wang, in the past. After Uncle Wang began studying Ye Qing’s future Poké Ball, Ye Qing explored the village and met a girl who admired Wang Yao’s photo on his phone.

• Ye Qing entered the thriving Peach Blossom Spring village and followed directions to Uncle Wang’s house.
• Ye Qing showed Uncle Wang a Poké Ball, explained that he came from a thousand years in the future, and recounted his background.
• Uncle Wang accepted Ye Qing’s story and took the Poké Ball to his studio to study it, while Ye Qing waited and looked around the village.
• Ye Qing met a girl whose partner was Drifloon, and she picked up his phone after he dropped it.
• The girl saw Ye Qing’s photo with Wang Yao and praised Wang Yao as handsome, leaving Ye Qing speechless.

Ye Qing realized that he had brought Wang Yao and Wang Yanying together a thousand years ago, then searched for a way to save the dying Celebi. He asked Master Wang to make a Poké Ball capable of catching a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon, and Master Wang revealed the Pokémon that had defeated his earlier attempts.

He took Gardevoir and Celebi to scout from the sky, hoping to locate the nearby bandits, but realized that predators could spot village fires just as easily.

• Ye Qing considered wishing Jirachi for a Mega Stone for Milotic, but decided that curing Celebi would have to come first.
• Wang Yanying asked Ye Qing for photos of Wang Yao and an introduction, and Ye Qing promised to arrange one if he had the chance.

Ye Qing searched a dark forest for signs of Jirachi while Jiang Zimo tried to turn the captive Xie Yu against him. Xie Yu refused, and Wangchen and Luo Jiujiu worried that Xie Yu and the others had been captured.

• Skarmory attacked Ye Qing, but Gardevoir teleported him to safety and lit his way into the forest.
• Ye Qing reasoned that Jirachi’s discoverer could not have traveled far and searched for a forest rich in Pokémon and fruit trees.
• Jiang Zimo showed Xie Yu news that the warrants against him, Zhu Yuanhao, and Chen Siyuan had been revoked, then urged Xie Yu to join Team R against Ye Qing.
• Xie Yu rejected Jiang Zimo’s offer, and Jiang Zimo ordered Golduck and Mr. Mime to inflict mental torture on the three captives.
• Wangchen told Luo Jiujiu that he had lost contact with Xie Yu and the others, and they feared someone had captured them.

Li Hu rescued Xie Yu, Zhu Yuanhao, and Chen Siyuan from Team R, but they were caught in the desert until Wangchen arrived to save them. Meanwhile, Cynthia approved Old Master Luo’s resignation while insisting that the Luo Family would face the law if they had broken it.

• Wangchen and Luo Jiujiu searched the desert for the three brothers after the wanted notice was withdrawn.
• Li Hu disabled the surveillance cameras, treated the bound brothers with Alakazam and Slowpoke, and led them through the underground base.
• Team R caught up with Li Hu and the three brothers, who chose to stand and fight rather than abandon one another.

Wang Jingke gathered his followers to seek Kyurem’s help in taking revenge on his father and the village he blamed for his mother’s death. He led his force to Kyurem’s cavern, where the Legendary Pokémon greeted them from the darkness.

• Wang Jingke learned that three of his men had gone missing, apparently with their souls hollowed out, and wondered if Kyurem had discovered his plans.
• Wang Jingke recalled how his mother died after bandits pursued them, and how Kyurem had spared him because he might know where its DNA Splicers were.
• Wang Jingke reflected on how he had secretly built a force and captured powerful Pokémon while enduring Kyurem’s demands, all to survive and avenge his mother.
• Wang Jingke mounted Rapidash and led more than a hundred followers to invite the Sacred Dragon, Kyurem.
• Wang Jingke entered Kyurem’s cavern, where the dragon opened its lantern-sized yellow eyes and greeted him.

Wang Jingke told Kyurem that he had found the DNA Splicers, while Ye Qing fought through the Ancient Forest and reached a town with two towers associated with Lugia and Ho-Oh. After seeing a comet that signaled Jirachi’s possible awakening, Ye Qing hurried back to the village, expecting a great battle soon.

• Wang Jingke told Kyurem that the DNA Splicers were in a village ten thousand li away, and Kyurem ordered him to lead the way.
• Ye Qing, Gardevoir, and Milotic fought off wild Pokémon through the night, then reached a walled town as the creatures withdrew at sunrise.
• A waiter told Ye Qing that the town’s two ancient towers were said to have hosted Lugia and Ho-Oh, and Ye Qing visited them before continuing his journey.

Ye Qing returned safely to the village, checked on Celebi, and visited Master Wang’s Apricorn Tree. A noblewoman named Madam Zhao arrived with her sick child, and Ye Qing offered to examine him while Master Wang remained busy.

• Ye Qing returned to the village on Milotic and found Garchomp asleep on the roof, then rewarded him without exposing his pretend guard duty.
• Ye Qing checked Celebi, spoke with Master Wang about his research on the GS Ball, and waited for the promised Crystal delivery.
• Ye Qing asked Wang Yanying to show him the Apricorn Tree, where he met Venusaur and saw the Pokémon tending the fruit trees.
• A boy announced the arrival of visitors, and three carriages drawn by Zebstrika entered the village with Machamp as guards.
• Wang Yanying tried to turn Madam Zhao away, but Ye Qing claimed he was Master Wang’s apprentice and offered to help her sick child.

Ye Qing diagnosed Madam Zhao’s son with Pokémon reversion syndrome and helped Gardevoir and Milotic restore the boy’s mind. In return, Madam Zhao gave Ye Qing a large purple Crystal that he recognized as Jirachi, and he tried to awaken it by singing.

• Madam Zhao brought her son to Ye Qing, and the boy behaved like a Growlithe until Gardevoir restrained him.
• Ye Qing identified the boy’s condition as Pokémon reversion syndrome and asked Gardevoir and Milotic to treat him.
• Gardevoir soothed the boy’s mind while Milotic countered the hypnosis, and the boy regained his senses.
• Madam Zhao gave Ye Qing a large purple Crystal as thanks, and he recognized it as Jirachi.
• Wang Yanying arranged for Madam Zhao and her companions to stay in the village, and Ye Qing sang to the Crystal beneath the comet in hopes of awakening Jirachi.

Ye Qing failed to awaken Jirachi by singing, but Wang Yanying’s lullaby brought the Pokémon out of its thousand-year sleep. Jirachi met Ye Qing and the others, and Garchomp and Gengar immediately tried to use its wish-granting power.

• Ye Qing sang to the purple crystal, but it did not react, so he asked Wang Yanying to try.
• Wang Yanying sang while remembering her mother, and the crystal floated up and awakened Jirachi.
• Ye Qing caught Jirachi and introduced himself, but Jirachi called him Xiao Qingzi; Wang Yanying and the Pokémon also greeted it.
• Ye Qing explained Jirachi’s thousand-year sleep and wish-granting ability, then offered it Pokéblocks.
• Garchomp wished for monkeys to go extinct, then changed his wish to sterilizing all Pansage, while Infernape slapped him.
• Gengar wished for Gardevoir to marry him, and Gardevoir pinned him against the wall with Confusion.

Jirachi granted small wishes in the village, prompting Ye Qing to consider asking it for a Mega Stone for Milotic and to heal the sleeping Celebi. Meanwhile, Wang Jingke returned to the forest with a burning hatred, and Madam Zhao suspected Jirachi’s arrival was connected to her purple Crystal.

• Jirachi made chocolate appear for Wang Yanying, taking it from Gengar’s stash, while Ye Qing considered what to wish for.
• Ye Qing comforted Milotic about wanting a Mega Stone and resolved to ask Jirachi to restore Celebi’s health.
• The group played with Jirachi until midnight, and Ye Qing stayed at Master Wang’s home while Master Wang continued studying the GS Ball.
• Wang Jingke entered a dark forest with flames on the horizon and thought bitterly about his father.

• Jirachi brought the royal family's military manufacturing equipment to Master Wang and helped villagers plow fields with Garchomp.
• Ye Qing tested Jirachi’s True Eye and found that he could not force it open, while Jirachi playfully escaped with Garchomp.
• When the comet appeared the next night, Ye Qing and Wang Yanying asked Jirachi to heal Celebi, whose body had withered.
• Jirachi opened its True Eye, drew energy from the comet, and healed Celebi beneath a beam of light.
• Celebi woke restored, thanked Jirachi with a kiss, and flew off to play with it.

Ye Qing’s group prepared for the night as Master Wang finally opened the GS Ball, but bandits soon set the surrounding forests ablaze and advanced on the village. Ye Qing and his allies gathered at the entrance as the attackers approached.

• Jirachi said it was exhausted after granting Ye Qing’s wish, then fell asleep while Gardevoir and Milotic took watch.
• Master Wang opened the GS Ball and noticed its construction resembled his secret formula, though he could not yet make a Master Ball.
• Wang Jingke arrived with over a hundred riders and ordered them to set the surrounding forests on fire and trap everyone in the village.
• Milotic spotted the spreading flames and warned Ye Qing, while Celebi and the villagers helped rescue Pokémon and contain the fire.
• Jirachi summoned river water from a black hole to form a moat, and Ye Qing’s allies assembled at the village entrance as the attackers approached.

Wang Jingke led a force of Rapidash against Master Wang, declaring that he had come to kill his father over his mother’s death. Ye Qing and his Pokémon fought back, but Shedinja and Golduck stopped Infernape as Wang Jingke’s spear closed in on Master Wang.

• Wang Jingke emerged from the flames with over a hundred Rapidash riders and accused Master Wang of having a hand in his mother’s death.
• Wang Jingke charged, while Ye Qing activated Mega Evolution and sent Infernape and Gengar to attack the approaching riders.
• Ye Qing ordered his Pokémon to strike the Rapidash army, and their attacks took out about a third of the force.
• Wang Jingke’s Shedinja blocked Infernape’s Focus Punch, and Golduck used Confusion to push Infernape away.
