Xu Taiping defeated the Primordial Lord by wielding the Dragon Clan’s swords against the demon horde, then broke through to the Heaven Gazing Realm. The remnant souls dissipated protecting him, and he chose to use the Kunwu Sword’s power of time to rescue Lin Buyu before facing Su Chan.

• Xu Taiping fought the Primordial Lord through successive transformations and attacks, draining his power and forcing him to open a passage to the Ten Abysses.
• Xu Taiping opened the Dragon Clan Treasury’s Golden Gate and called on its weapons, eventually bonding with thousands of Dragon Swords despite the damage to his soul.
• Xu Taiping wielded thirty thousand Dragon Swords with the aid of the Myriad Gods Formation, destroyed the demonic horde, and struck down the Primordial Lord.
• The Primordial Lord’s demon seed was destroyed, freeing Li Daoyan and other remnant souls, who urged Xu Taiping to reach the Transformation Realm and warned him about Su Chan’s plans.
• Xu Taiping received the Spirit Pearl and the Primordial Lord’s black beads, then swallowed the Nirvana Pill and began his breakthrough while the remnant souls defended him from demons.

Xu Taiping returned to Lin Buyu’s past, helped her survive the Ten Evils Monastery, and later rescued Zhao Linglong from Netherworld Rakshasa Hall assassins. Back in the Golden Court, the Earth Fruit ripened and granted him powerful treasures as he prepared to open the remaining lotus seeds.

• Xu Taiping rescued Lin Buyu from her sealed cave, then entered her later years and possessed a dog to protect her at the Ten Evils Monastery.
• Xu Taiping possessed Old Man Jiang and taught Lin Buyu the Blood Qi Body Tempering Art, which she used to defeat Su Muling and win the big yellow dog.
• Xu Taiping intervened when Lü Kuan threatened Lin Lu, and Lin Lu used the Mysterious Wasteland Art to defeat Lü Kuan.
• Zhao Linglong stood up for Xu Taiping, while Dugu Qingxiao accused Lu Sibai of being one of the thirteen Arsonists, and an old man later brought Zhao Linglong a Dragon-Slaying Stele sent by Xu Taiping.
• Wuji Immortal Elder warned Fairy Lingyue that he was trapped in the Wind Demon Eye and sent his clone with the Dragon-Slaying Stele to Zhao Linglong.
• Xu Taiping forged the Demon-Sealing Sword Black Hound, while Zhao Linglong and Wuji Immortal Elder’s clone were attacked by Netherworld Rakshasa Hall assassins.
• Xu Taiping entered the stele through the Dragon-Trapping Tower and defeated the assassins after they gravely wounded Zhao Linglong and dismembered the clone, then brought Zhao Linglong to the Golden Court.
• Xu Taiping harvested the nine ripened Earth Fruit Golden Lotus pods, used an ordinary seed to repair his Divine Soul, and discovered that a golden seed had transformed the Azure Luan Ring into a top-grade immortal weapon.

Xu Taiping protected Bai Yu from Jiang Chong and Tangting Mountain, then climbed Ten Thousand Evils Peak under the name Chu Ping'an and defeated its ten imprisoned villains, including Bu Xueting. He reached the summit, awakened his Lotus Eye after accepting Spirit Spring water, and learned six days later that the Sword Inquiry list had been released.

• Xu Taiping and Fairy Lingyue confronted Jiang Chong and Tangting Mountain after Bai Yu was attacked, and Fairy Lingyue forced Zhu Wu and the elders to withdraw.
• Xu Taiping proved that he and Fairy Lingyue were innocent of the cultivator’s death, while Huang Que reprimanded Qian Xiaofu for acting without investigating.
• Xu Taiping entered Chen Sheng’s Sword Gang trial as Chu Ping'an, endured its Sword Qi, and earned permission to climb Ten Thousand Evils Peak.
• Xu Taiping climbed the peak while enduring its sword qi, then defeated the villains in the Ten Evils Pavilions, including the Sword Fiend and Bu Xueting.
• Xu Taiping reached the summit and, after a dangerous awakening of Daoheart Emptiness, entered the golden hall and met Chu Qiuyai.
• Xu Taiping refused to drink the Spirit Spring water but poured it over himself, healing his wounds and awakening his Lotus Eye, which showed him Chu Qiuyai’s death.
• Six days later, Zhao Linglong told Xu Taiping that the Sword Inquiry list for the True Martial Sword Champion Assembly had been released.

Xu Taiping entered the Sword Inquiry disguised as Chu Ping'an and defeated Lu Sibai, exposing and punishing him for the Burning Nation Tragedy. After a succession of challengers left Chu Ping'an exhausted, Bai Di challenged him, and Chu Ping'an accepted.

• Zhao Linglong explained Xu Taiping’s Sword Inquiry roster, which included Bai Di, Mu Yun, and Lu Sibai, and described the Assembly’s three rounds.
• Cui Tiegu challenged Dugu Qingxiao, but their fierce duel ended in a tie when Cui Tiegu sheathed his sword and left the platform.
• After True Martial Heaven’s contestants suffered repeated defeats, Lu Sibai won two inquiries and challenged Chu Ping'an, unaware that Xu Taiping was disguised as him.
• Xu Taiping overwhelmed Lu Sibai with swordsmanship and Baxia Form punches, then confronted him over the Burning Nation Tragedy and beheaded him after Lu Sibai kowtowed to the victims.
• Jin Susu attacked Chu Ping'an, but the Sword Chief Ranking stopped her and Madam Golden Bamboo from interfering, and Wang You Valley then offered rewards to challengers who defeated or killed him.
• Chu Ping'an accepted a series of challenges and knocked Lu Hu and many others off the platform, while Dugu Qingxiao warned that he had nearly exhausted his strength.
• The Sword Chief Ranking selected Bai Di to issue the next challenge, and Chu Ping'an accepted instead of using his Ceasefire Token.
