With the Primordial Lord nearing awakening, the group possessed a demonic beast to enter the next barrier and reached the fighting near the bronze gate.

• Xu Taiping defeated Zhao Mou inside the Black Crystal Barrier and received Lotus Eye’s Divine Soul Mark and warnings about the Kunwu Sword.
• Xu Taiping proved his strength to the elders, and Zhang Yu gave him the Great Sage Armor before dying from Zhao Mou’s trap.

• Xu Taiping used the Mysterious Wasteland Seal to stun the Demonic Beasts, allowing the Azure-Eyed Evil Lord to kill them and claim Po Jun from Zhuo Buming.
• Dark Raven and Black Hound revealed their true forms and attacked, and Elder Zhuo sacrificed himself to wound Black Hound while Great Elder Lou helped Xu Taiping return to his true body.
• Cloud Crane True Lord and the Pearl Relic House Master killed the Demon Gods separately, but Xu Taiping realized their deaths would let them return stronger and used the Life-and-Death Seal against them.

Xu Taiping uncovered the Primordial Lord’s scheme, gathered allies to reactivate the sealing formation, and entered the Gray Mist to fight the demonic forces summoned from their memories. The group broke through most of the enemy formations, but the Heartless Demon Emperor and three Demon Emperors remained as the Azure-Eyed Evil Lord poured his Sword Qi into Po Jun Sword.

• Xu Taiping recognized the Mirror Persons at the Azure Nether Spring, and the Azure-Eyed Evil Lord emptied the spring before carrying the group to the formation ruins.
• Xu Taiping and the Azure-Eyed Evil Lord defeated the Mirror Persons, but Qu Shuang revealed he had taken control of his clone and died to prevent the Primordial Lord from using Returning to the Ruins Power.
