Xu Taiping and the Heaven-Hunting Great Sage fought through Cloudvoid Valley, killed its Blightbones, and used the Jade Mother’s Sweet Dew Nectar to reach the trapped Taisu Valley disciples. After rescuing Qu Chao Ci and Bai Cao Xuan, they faced Xie Wangyan, the Blood Zen Dharma Master, and a horde of Blightbones drawn to the lone peak.

• The Heaven-Hunting Great Sage learned that Qu Chao Ci and Bai Cao Xuan were trapped with Blightbones, then set out with Xu Taiping and Bai Yue to rescue them.
• Xu Taiping, Mo Qingzhu, and the Heaven-Hunting Great Sage entered Cloudvoid Valley and fought powerful Blightbones while Mo Qingzhu worked to undo the stone platform’s formation.
• The Wedding-Robe Blightbone tried to become a Blight Immortal, but Mo Qingzhu awakened the stone pillar and Xu Taiping, Bai Yue, Mo Qingzhu, and the Heaven-Hunting Great Sage killed every Blightbone in the valley.

Xu Taiping and the Heaven-Hunting Great Sage survived the Blightbone assault, rescued their companions, and set out for Yaochi Sacred Land after learning Xu Ping'an and Bai Yu were in danger. At the Stone Bridge, Xu Taiping found the Twin-Eye Bracelet, while the Great Sage fought a Blight Immortal to buy the group time to enter.

• Xu Taiping merged his Heaven-Supporting Form with True Dragon Divine Being Power and held off the Blightbones until the Jade Mother Sweet Dew rain weakened them.
• The Heaven-Hunting Great Sage captured Xie Wangyan and had Mo Qingzhu turn him into a Human Swine, then the group reunited with Su Qingtan, Dongfang Su, and Bai Yue in the Dragon-Trapping Tower.
• Bai Cao Xuan's Moonlight Stone revealed Xu Ping'an gravely wounded at Yaochi Sacred Land and carrying a warning about the Blightbone calamity, while Ping'an urged Xu Taiping to rescue Bai Yu.

Xu Taiping led his companions through the Yaochi Sacred Land, securing the Profound Purity Cauldron and reaching the Ziwei Jade Pillar while contending with the Five Blights, Supreme Venerable Xuanwei, and the Chi Dragon Skeleton. The arc ended with Xu Taiping defeating Lei E in a fist challenge and preparing to continue to the Third Layer.

• Xu Taiping and his companions entered the Yaochi Sacred Land, escaped the Blightbones, and learned that Xiahou You and his group were trapped on the third layer.
• Xu Taiping and Bai Yue destroyed the guardian of the Profound Purity Cauldron, then refused to surrender it to the Five Blights and crossed the Weak Water Heavenly River.

• Xu Taiping defeated Lei E with repeated Heaven-Touching Stance attacks and his Vajra dharma aspect, while Supreme Venerable Xuanwei questioned the connection between Xu Taiping and the Heaven-Hunting Great Sage.

Xu Taiping and his companions exposed and defeated the Demonic Daoist who was feeding cultivators to Star Lord Blightbone, then escaped to the fourth layer as Xu Taiping absorbed the Blightbone power. The power began fusing with his Dragon Pearl and Golden Chalice, leaving him unable to fight while Blade Ghost warned that the dangerous process could also greatly strengthen him.

• Xu Taiping defeated Lei E in the Blade Inquiry Round, learned the Star Lords or Jade Mother might know about the Heavenly Court’s calamity, and accepted Lei E’s offer to send the group to the third layer.
• Xu Taiping used a Divine Soul Mark to discover the Demonic Daoist’s trap and his plan to nurture a Rahu Fruit, then had Mo Qingzhu conceal the group with the Human Swine Talisman.
• Xu Taiping used the Blade of Guicang to reach the Demonic Daoist, while Qu Chao Ci sealed the Daoist’s divine soul with silver needles.

• Mo Qingzhu rewound events after Xu Taiping’s 102,000-blade attack failed, allowing Xu Taiping to strike with 103,000 blades and seize the fragment, but the Demonic Daoist’s black fog swallowed the fruits and entered Xu Taiping’s mouth.
• Xu Taiping’s Dao Body Furnace burned away the Demonic Daoist’s soul and began refining the Blightbone power, while the Dragon Pearl and Golden Chalice joined it in a turbulent fusion.
• Xiahou You’s Hidden Immortal Wine helped Xu Taiping recover enough to travel with the group to the fourth layer, where he collapsed from the fusion’s divine-soul impacts and Blade Ghost identified the process as a perilous path toward Shi'ang Power.
