When Qingzhouzi came to demand an accounting for the Yellow Origin Palace, Blade Ghost trapped his Dharma Aspect and rejected his offer to bargain.

• Kang Cangzi entrusted Xu Taiping with five Sky Demon Tokens and explained the Upper Realm’s past betrayal of the Lower Realm, then urged him to take up the Swordbearer’s responsibility.
• Kang Cangzi warned that the Demon Mother’s clone would awaken after a jiazi, while Xu Taiping resolved to enter the Taixuan Ghost Domain and help the Azure Profound Sect.
• At the Demon-Slaying Platform, Xu Taiping and Lin Buyu reunited with their companions as the Assembly’s rankings were revealed and the top ten began redeeming their points.

There he saved the Pure Yang Sword Sect from ghosts and reached the ancient Teleportation Platform that could lead toward Dongting Blessed Land.

• Xu Taiping ended his sixteen-year seclusion, tested his strength against the Vast Sea, and announced that he would challenge Three Corpses Cave over its murder of Azure Profound Sect disciples.
• Xu Taiping stormed Three Corpses Cave, killed Luo Hong and Xu San, fought its leaders, and issued a three-year fist challenge before escaping a Half-Immortal with the Greater Sky Demon Token.
• Xu You revealed that he had forged a sword strike from the Mortal Realm’s suffering for Xu Taiping, then died fighting evil ghosts, and Dongfang Yuejian vowed to deliver his strike to Xu Taiping.

Xu Taiping and his allies prepared to enter the Taixuan Ghost Domain, discovered ways to resist its ghosts, and rescued Zhao Linglong from an attack on the Green Bamboo Abode. They then pushed through the ghost-fog walls toward Listening Wind Tower, where Zhao Qian was being tortured and Yuxuzi remained their target.

• Xu Taiping used the Lotus Eye and Moonlight Stone to learn that powerful ghosts guarded Dongting Blessed Land, then the group activated the Teleportation Platform and fought the three Great Ghosts.
• Xu Taiping questioned the captured Shadow Lord and learned that ghost creatures in the Taixuan Ghost Domain were growing stronger, so he sought a power that could restrain them through heavenly secrets deduction.
• Daoist Fengzhu performed the Heavenly Sacrifice Method while the others slew ghosts, allowing Xu Taiping to deduce that Plum Blood Wax could repel ghosts and strengthen cultivators but risked turning them into Evil Ghosts.
• Xu Taiping used Kang Cangzi’s Moonlight Stone to witness Zhao Linglong and the Azure Profound Sect fighting for their lives at the Green Bamboo Abode, but the vision ended when a Heavenly Soldier shattered the stone.
