History

Dark Tide and the Four Domains War

The Dark Tide's attack in the Northern Domain prompts Ye Lingyun to warn Dean Bing Xin that the entire Star Great Plane is threatened. Bing Xin and the Star Ancestor experts activate the Starlight Trajectory to hold it back, then open the harsh, sparsely powered Four Domains Battlefield for a sustained war against the Shadow Race 81.

The Alliance Army wins repeated victories. Yan Wu burns hundreds of Shadow Race demonic beasts, Liu Yun assassinates a commander, and Yan Po holds the defensive line; their achievements are recorded on the Merit Wall. During this period, a Shadow Race expert pursues Ye Lingyun into an underground cave, where Ye Lingyun awakens the Star-Mystic Coin and destroys his pursuer at the cost of his cultivation 82 83.

After recovering his power, Ye Lingyun returns to a besieged city. He fights alongside Bing Qing'er and Xue Yao until the attacking army retreats 84.

Star Core Pursuit and Ice Soul Star

Shadow Race warriors search the Starfall Ruins for treasure and attack Ye Lingyun near the Star Core. He defeats them and absorbs the Core's power, but stronger experts pursue him specifically to obtain it. He fights off an expert and escapes through the Multiverse Teleportation Array 86 87.

The Shadow Race later sends a fleet to invade Ice Soul Star. Ye Lingyun uses ice law to pierce the warships with ice spears, engulf the battlefield in an Ice Storm, and freeze the warriors. The fleet is completely destroyed, with no survivors 89.

The Seven Star Saints

Ye Lingyun returns to the Four Domains Battlefield and routs the invaders with ice-law attacks. Recognizing his growing potential, the seven Star Saints gather in their black castle and decide to eliminate him personally 92 93.

Ye Lingyun uses spatial law to separate the Saints and kill Ying Sha. He then combines spatial and ice law to trap Blazing Sun, Thunderstorm, and Hurricane inside a frozen spatial vortex. The Four Domains warriors repel the accompanying Shadow Race assault, though Ye Lingyun considers the wider threat unresolved 94 95.

Shadow Race forces continue fighting on Ice Soul Star afterward. Ye Lingyun intervenes there again, using Thousand-Mile Ice Seal and Starstorm to help the human army defeat them 96.

Starshadow Desert Raid

Dean Bing Xin assigns Ye Lingyun a raid against the Shadow Race's supply lines. Alliance intelligence identifies a secret fortress in the Starshadow Desert as an important supply link, making it the Starblade Squad's target 97 100.

The squad breaches the fortress, defeats its defenders, and leaves the base in ruins. Powerful pursuers force the squad to split up during its escape. Ye Lingyun defeats the force pursuing him, then confronts Ying Sha and kills him after breaking through to Star Lord Level 101 102 103.

Shadow Ancestor's Assault

The awakened Shadow Ancestor confronts the Starblade Squad near an ancient desert altar. His power exceeds Star Lord Level, forcing Ye Lingyun to hold him off while the squad escapes 104.

The Ancestor's awakening is part of a long-planned attempt to use battlefield slaughter to reach the Star God Stage and rule the Star Great Plane. Venerable Apocalypse, the Star Sea King, the Wind and Snow Saint, and Huo Yun True Lord interrupt the full breakthrough, but cannot stop him after he becomes a half-step Star God 105.

Seeking humanity's extermination as a catalyst for further advancement, the Ancestor leads his army through the human defensive lines. Jin Yang, Ye Ying, and Xuan Feng fail to halt him. Ye Lingyun then obtains temporary Star God Stage power, defeats the Ancestor, and destroys the invading army with Starfall Sword Strike 105 106 107.
