Shi Hao killed the beardless Rain Clan elder and fled the remaining sealers with Shi Hou on his back. He captured the Fire Cloud Sparrow, whom he called Big Red, and forced him to carry them away, leaving the pursuers behind in the clouds.
Shi Hao and Shi Hou recovered aboard Big Red after escaping the Rain Clan, then forced the reluctant Fire Cloud Sparrow to turn back toward the battle site. They found the Rain Clan’s survivors gone from the devastated swamp.
Shi Hou learned that the Rain Clan was seeking Taiyi True Water in the Hundred Broken Mountains, and he and Shi Hao decided to seize it for soup. After secretly trailing the Rain Clan to a divine pool in the desert, the group prepared to act.
Shi Hao and Shi Hou watched the Rain Clan claim the Taiyi True Water, then ambushed them and used the Black Pot to take the water and the Rain God Decree. The fight continued as Yu Wencheng lost both hands and the decree disappeared into the pot.
Shi Hou and his companions defeated the Rain Clan group, seized their supplies, and captured the Taiyi True Water in the Black Pot. They left the Golden Desert to find a better place to cook, and Shi Hou spotted several promising Mutated Beasts at an oasis.
Shi Hou prepared spicy poached Golden Frog with Big Red’s help, and the group devoured the spiritually potent meal. Afterward, Shi Hao wondered aloud whether they had forgotten something.
Shi Hao's Supreme Bone was reborn after absorbing the resources that had fueled his growth, and the group continued exploring the Hundred Broken Mountains after he recovered. They entered a Golden Passage that might hold new ingredients and dangers.
Shi Hao and Shi Hou encountered youths from the Martial King Manor attacking a wounded purple marten, and the youths tried to force Shi Hou to serve as their chef. Furball and Kang struck first and quickly defeated them, while Big Red resolved to work harder as the team’s assistant.
Shi Hao and Shi Hou followed Purple Marten to the Treasure-Splitting Cliff, where the gathered clans’ prodigies waited to enter the ruins. Shi Hao reunited with the wounded Nine-Headed Lion and gave him a tiny scrap of Golden Frog meat that unexpectedly healed his wounds and restored his blood qi.
Shi Hou tried to find the Nine-Headed Lion’s assailant, provoking the Luan Bird and Feiyi with his appetite for their meat. Shi Hao defended his little brother by overpowering and killing the Feiyi, leaving the gathering to face the aftermath of the fight.
Shi Hou defeated a pureblood Feiyi and forced the Nine-Headed Lion to contribute one of his heads in exchange for sparing the Luan Bird. He cooked all three creatures in Taiyi True Water, leaving the assembled onlookers stunned as he declared the hot pot ready.
Shi Hou’s feast of the three remnant beasts restored and empowered the diners, even convincing the wounded Luan Bird to eat its own cooked flesh. As Shi Hou received a huge blood qi reward, Bifang and a Chi Dragon arrived and demanded the precious medicine.
Four pureblood creatures abandoned their attempt to seize Shi Hou’s cooking when countless treasure weapons emerged from the Treasure-Splitting Cliff. Shi Hou’s group entered the ruins to hunt for treasures, where Shi Hao was ambushed by a hidden Seal-Breaker.
Shi Hao’s Black Pot saved him from an assassin, and his Primordial Remnant companions routed the attackers and dominated the Treasure-Splitting Cliff. After days of pursuing Treasure Weapons, the group saw a Divine Tide erupt across the ruins as thousands of beings fled toward them.
Shi Hao attempted to claim a Bone Tower in the Secret Realm, but a White Tiger and its attendants attacked him. Shi Hou blocked the attack and charged the White Tiger, eager to turn it into a meal.
Shi Hou fought White Tiger with overwhelming physical strength, while Shi Hao kept the bone tower suppressed and admired White Tiger’s treasure. White Tiger unleashed the White Tiger Seal, but Kang answered with a mysterious blue beam, leaving the clash unresolved as Shi Hou threatened to turn White Tiger’s fur into coats for his mother.
Shi Hou stripped White Tiger of its White Tiger Seal and nearly killed it, but a life-saving rune bone rescued White Tiger and sent it fleeing. Shi Hou pursued it, while Shi Hao chased after the fleeing Bone Tower in the opposite direction.
Shi Hou caught White Tiger in the White Bone Forbidden Land, where Shi Yi was about to claim the wounded Pureblood Archaic Species as his mount. After Shi Hou challenged Shi Yi over the bone stolen from his younger cousin, the two prepared to face off.
Shi Hou fought Shi Yi in the White Bone Forbidden Land, using Kang and his Black Pot to overcome the double-pupiled youth. When a giant claw descended, Shi Hou knocked Shi Yi into its path, then escaped on White Tiger.
Shi Hou forced White Tiger to carry him through the White Bone Forbidden Land while monstrous undead pursued them. They escaped into the sunlight, and Shi Hou fed the exhausted White Tiger a vitality-rich leek leaf to restore it.
Shi Hou restored the White Tiger with medicinal power, then forced it to help him hunt and cook creatures it called sworn enemies while searching for Shi Hao. After a month of roaming the Hundred Broken Mountains, they came upon three wounded human cultivators hiding in the grass.
Shi Hou learned that Shi Hao had been cornered at the Treasure-Splitting Cliff and rushed there with the White Tiger. He arrived as Shi Hao fought the Golden-Winged Peng Bird, which launched a small black mountain at him.
Shi Hao fought the Golden-Winged Peng Bird while Shi Hou collected the fallen remnants and sent him the Black Pot for protection. With the pot strapped to his back, Shi Hao charged through the bird’s fire and magnetic attacks to strike at its chest.
Shi Hou sacrificed himself to destroy the ten Strange Ancestors and the source of the black fog, saving the heavens. Shi Hao was left holding the Black Pot and vowed to bring him back.
