Separation and Undercover Mission

The Silver Dragon King deliberately split herself into Gu Yue and Na'er to infiltrate human society from two directions. Na'er inherited her memories, thirty percent of her origin, and the Silver Dragon Spear, but lacked the draconic nature retained by Gu Yue. Her specific assignment was to investigate an aura resembling the Netherworld 4 14 15.

Gu Yue sent her from the Star Dou Great Forest to Mingdu without travel money or a precise location for her target. Hungry and stranded, Na'er encountered Shen Xi and Xu Qingjia outside their home. Her description of being sent away by her “mama” through a pitch-black place led Shen Xi to suspect child trafficking and order a citywide crackdown 13 14.

Shen Xi and Xu Ye welcomed her into the family despite the absence of identity records. Na'er accepted eagerly, attracted by their care, abundant food, and the chance to avoid being merged back into Gu Yue. Xu Qingjia privately confirmed her identity through the Book of Life and Death, which recorded her and Gu Yue as separate individuals 14 15.

Choosing Her Human Family

Na'er settled into a bedroom beside Xu Qingjia's and reported her comfortable new circumstances as a successful infiltration. She continued communicating with Gu Yue while growing attached to the Xu household and competing with Xu Qingjia over who should be called the older sibling 16 23 24.

After three years, the Silver Dragon Reverse Scale led her directly to Xu Qingjia as the source of the Netherworld aura. Rather than confront him, she concealed her alarm by asking for food. She later fabricated an investigation report to Gu Yue, realizing afterward that she had deceived her other self because of her feelings for him 32 44.

When Gu Yue questioned their closeness, Na'er presented her relationship with Xu Qingjia as a means of controlling the future Xu Family head and gaining influence within the Federation. Gu Yue accepted the explanation but warned against genuine attachment. Troubled by the possibility that her hidden identity would ruin their bond, Na'er sought reassurance from Xu Qingjia, who privately already knew she was a dragon 60 61.

Eastsea Expedition and Independence

Na'er accompanied Gu Yue to Eastsea City to pursue the Golden Dragon King's aura. They temporarily reunited as Gu Yuena during the confrontation with Tang San, then returned to their separate forms badly depleted. Na'er relied on rest and her Dragon King bloodline's regeneration while recovering 65 69 74.

Gui Mei subsequently escorted her into the Netherworld to retrieve the Golden Dragon King's Divine Core. Na'er deduced that her selection was connected to Xu Qingjia; Gui Mei confirmed that the arrangement could save her from absorption by Gu Yue. She then extracted the sealed core from the unconscious Tang Wulin 77.

After absorbing the first two seals, Na'er refused Gu Yue's demand to fuse. She insisted that reviving the Dragon Clan did not require surrendering her consciousness, her adopted family, or her life with Xu Qingjia. Their confrontation exposed her resentment at being treated as a tool for Gu Yue's plans 78.

The Golden Dragon King's power prevented Gu Yue from simply suppressing and absorbing her. Na'er nevertheless intended to return the Silver Dragon King's thirty percent origin once her cultivation improved, deliberately keeping the two origins from merging. The sisters eventually agreed to cooperate against Tang Hao and Ah Yin without fusing 78 95 96.

Later Development

Na'er continued fighting alongside Xu Qingjia, including an arena battle against an ice-goddess Martial Soul Fusion Skill. Her spear talent later attracted Guan Yue's interest, though she declined his proposed instruction and demonstrated that her spear soul had already formed 94 95 119.

Xu Qingjia gave her a Lovesick Heartbreak Red and an Ice Dragon King energy seal disguised as a soul bone. Refining the flower raised her to the level-fifty threshold and strengthened her body. She subsequently joined the group's Spirit Ascension Platform battles, using her Golden Dragon Claw to expose powerful soul beasts' vulnerable points for Xu Xiaoyan 136 137 144 146.

Na'er is playful, proud, and fond of grandiose titles. Her determination to make Xu Qingjia call her “Big Sister” turns sparring and everyday teasing into contests for seniority. Despite inheriting the Silver Dragon King's memories, her emotional experience and maturity are far more limited than Gu Yue's 4 16 23 78.

Food is one of her strongest motivations. She readily postpones her mission for snacks, comfortable sleep, and family meals, then rationalizes her indulgence as maintaining peak condition. Her appetite also has a physical basis: her true dragon body requires considerable energy, and acquiring the Golden Dragon King's origin increases that demand 15 16 32 79.

Beneath her bravado, Na'er strongly values care, companionship, and personal autonomy. She wants to become stronger to protect Xu Qingjia and views their attachment as an equal relationship rather than submission. Although jealous of romantic rivals and resentful of Gu Yue's control, she remains willing to help the Dragon Clan and relinquish origin power that she considers Gu Yue's 78 96 117.
