Red Star and interplanetary expansion

Red Star is a harsh world dominated by red deserts with limited water and vegetation. After a meteorite impact set their development back by two centuries, the Celestials concluded that martial arts alone could not secure their future; they developed technology alongside martial arts and became an interplanetary species roughly two thousand years later. 743

The Celestials eventually joined the Cosmic Human Alliance as its eleventh race. Alliance support provided them technology and resources, while obligating them to hunt demons alongside the other member civilizations. 743

Blue Star and the Celestial Era

The Celestials discovered Blue Star, where demons had already appeared, and began teaching its people martial arts while fighting beside them. Their two great leaders established a Martial Arts Academy on the planet. 743

They taught advanced martial arts to ten exceptionally talented humans, who became the human heroes that led Shenzhou's resistance against demons. The major Sword Sect families later traced their ancestry to these heroes. 273

Before departing, the Celestials made a pact with humanity's upper echelon, left the moon behind on Shenzhou—possibly as a spacecraft—and built transport routes linking Shenzhou, the Western Continent, and the Northern Continent.
