Yun Tian laughed when he saw Dongfang Tiexin looking ready to cry because she had missed out on the pig trotters. Seeing him laugh at her, Dongfang Tiexin burst into tears.
"Yun Tian, you're so mean! Not only did you leave me no pig trotters, you're laughing at me too! Waaah!"
Dongfang Xiong looked at Tie Xin, then at the mischievous grin on Yun Tian's face, and said,
"All right, Tie Xin. Look at that grin on Yun Tian's face. He's teasing you."
Dongfang Tiexin stopped crying and looked at Yun Tian.
"Really?"
Yun Tian replied,
"That's right. I didn't expect Dongfang Xiong to see through me."
"Go on, dig in. I saved some for both you and your mother."
As he spoke, he gestured to Ling'er, who brought out the portions they had set aside.
"Go on, dig in. My husband saved these for you in advance. We wanted some, but he wouldn't let us have any. See how good he is to you?"
Seeing that Yun Tian really had saved her some, Dongfang Tiexin happily threw herself into his arms.

Yun Tian patted Tie Xin.

Yun Tian turned and saw Dongfang Xiong still standing there. He walked over and, before she could react, took her hand and led her toward the dining table.

"You were just standing there, so I'm taking you over to eat."
Hearing his answer, Dongfang Xiong glanced at the hand he was holding. A flicker of secret delight rose in her heart, one even she did not notice. She let him lead her over and sat down at the table. Yun Tian's dishes looked, smelled, and tasted wonderful, so she began eating too. Once she started, she could not stop, eating faster and faster.
