After learning that Megumi Fushiguro's unconscious older sister might be in danger from the Yasohachi Bridge curse, Itadori gathered details about the test of courage from Fujinuma. The group planned to enter the domain that night, while Sukuna worried about Megumi's sister and considered whether his Reverse Cursed Technique could help her.
At Yasohachi Bridge, Megumi Fushiguro told Itadori and Nobara about the curse that had left his sister unconscious, and agreed to let Sukuna examine her later. When the three entered the domain, Sukuna sensed his finger and swiftly exorcised every curse in the cavern with Dismantle.
Sukuna mistook a Special Grade Curse resembling the one at the Juvenile Detention Center for his ancient appearance and was devastated until Megumi Fushiguro explained it reflected Sukuna’s cursed energy instead. After killing the curse and taking its finger, Sukuna left in low spirits and declined to pursue two Special Grades he sensed nearby.
After Sukuna brooded over the possibility that his former curse appearance had been ugly, Itadori comforted him by insisting he looked handsome now and inviting him to be part of the Itadori family. Sukuna accepted the affection while teasing Itadori with a new nickname, and they settled down to sleep in the Inner World.
Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara visited Tsumiki Fushiguro, where Sukuna examined her and discovered that a special grade cursed object was slowly incarnating inside her. He left Megumi and Nobara stunned with the revelation that Tsumiki might already have a second soul within her body.
Sukuna discovered that Tsumiki Fushiguro was slowly absorbing a concealed Special Grade Cursed Object, and told Megumi it could still be removed to stop her Incarnation. Megumi disabled the camera and asked Sukuna to operate immediately, leaving Sukuna overwhelmed by his appeal.
Sukuna removed the cursed object from Tsumiki and carefully left the forehead mark intact so Megumi Fushiguro could avoid suspicion. After discovering the object resembled a miniature heart, Sukuna accidentally burned it to ashes, leaving him unsure what to do.
Megumi Fushiguro stayed by Tsumiki until she woke, then took her to the home Gojo had arranged. After Sukuna removed the mark on her forehead, Megumi realized someone might be creating incarnated vessels across the country and decided to tell Gojo privately.
Tsumiki woke from her year-long coma and reunited with Megumi, who learned that another soul was speaking inside her. When Sukuna introduced himself, the soul in Tsumiki suddenly recognized him and called out to him.
Tsumiki woke to find a mouth on her face, which claimed to be Sukuna’s future wife and said she had become a cursed object to find him a thousand years later. After Sukuna realized she was trying to trick him into marriage, he set that aside and asked what he had been like in the past.
Sukuna asked Uraume what he had looked like a thousand years ago, and her memories reassured him that his human self had been beautiful and better-looking than Megumi Fushiguro. Uraume remembered her name and again demanded marriage, then mistook Tsumiki for Sukuna’s lover before he called her his sister, prompting Uraume to call herself his sister-in-law.
Sukuna questioned Yorozu about his past, learning about his attendant Uraume and mourning a little fox he remembered from his dreams. Over dinner, Yorozu complained that she could not take over her vessel, and Sukuna blamed the person who had made their arrangement before lecturing her not to kill.
Sukuna helped Megumi Fushiguro and Uraume agree on rules for her appearances in exchange for sweets, while Tsumiki stopped Uraume from bullying Megumi. The next morning, Megumi complained to Sukuna about Uraume, prompting Sukuna to insist that she was not his wife.
Megumi Fushiguro worried about Tsumiki’s safety after she gained cursed energy, but she chose to avoid becoming a sorcerer and learn basic self-defense instead. When Gojo returned, Megumi discovered Tsumiki had joined his class at Jujutsu High, while Gojo looked forward to seeing Uraume and Sukuna together.
Sukuna dreaded Tsumiki joining his class because he feared Uraume would appear and propose to him, but Gojo explained that bringing Tsumiki to Jujutsu High was necessary to protect her. With Gojo back, Sukuna decided he could safely eat the finger from Yasohachi Bridge and sleep until he felt ready to wake up.
Sukuna and Gojo discussed Sukuna’s emerging memories and the Cursed Objects hidden inside other people. Gojo asked for Sukuna’s help removing them, leaving Sukuna worried that he would have to work overtime.
After Itadori swallowed another Finger, Sukuna experienced a memory of a blood-soaked battlefield and saw his thousand-year-old self mortally wounded. The vision ended just as Sukuna rushed to save him, leaving Sukuna shaken back in his innate domain.
After a disturbing dream of his dying, hate-filled past, Sukuna faced a sphere containing his forgotten memories and chose not to recover them. He returned to Yuji, determined to keep their present life and eventually disappear without hurting him.
Sukuna panicked when Uraume stopped seeking him out, then learned Tsumiki had somehow made her behave. He planned to test whether Uraume would still pursue him if he switched places with Itadori.
Sukuna approached Tsumiki and discovered that Uraume had stopped pursuing him, leaving him relieved but unexpectedly disappointed. Tsumiki’s plan to distract Uraume with romance novels worked, and she began plotting to find Uraume new interests.
Tsumiki hosted Sukuna and the others for a home-cooked dinner, where Sukuna joked with the group and reflected on memories recovered from eating a Finger. He concealed his role in Uraume’s injuries when he mentioned a classified mission, then nervously accepted more soup from Megumi.
Sukuna learned that 376 marked patients needed treatment and began removing cursed objects from a group of twenty at Gojo’s mansion. While treating them, Sukuna realized he might know how to make cursed objects—and wondered if he could turn himself into one and leave Yuji’s body.
Sukuna and Gojo examined twenty unconscious people and found that only seven had swallowed cursed objects, while the other thirteen bore marks and had cursed techniques engraved in their brains. Gojo realized someone was converting ordinary people into sorcerers on a large scale, possibly involving Mahito and the followers of a man he had killed; as he rested, Sukuna reached toward his shoulder.
Sukuna and Gojo worked together to remove special grade cursed objects from the incarnated vessels, while Gojo arranged to erase the marks on other people later. Their efforts destroyed over a hundred of Kenjaku’s collected objects, leaving his planned Culling Game with very few pieces remaining.
After finishing a week of work dealing with incarnated vessels, Sukuna joined Itadori and their friends for a day at the amusement park. Sukuna enjoyed the rides and food, while Itadori bore the brunt of Sukuna’s excitement and ended the morning exhausted.
