Haruto fought Akaza, whose Compass Needle let him track the swordsman’s movements, and struggled to overcome the demon’s strength and resilience. Haruto landed a surprise injection, but Akaza realized that the cracking sound came from Haruto’s broken arm.
Haruto injected Akaza with the last dose of Dream Thief Drug and tried to behead him while Akaza relived his memories as Hakuji, but Akaza broke free and nearly killed Haruto. Kyojuro arrived in time to save him, and the two faced Akaza together.
Haruto and Kyojuro fought Akaza as the demon struggled with memories of his human life and Koyuki. Kyojuro stood against Akaza to protect those nearby while Haruto, badly injured, prepared to fight with his Transparent World perception.
Haruto and Kyojuro fought Akaza, whose memories began resurfacing as Muzan’s command and the Dream Thief Drug stirred his past. Akaza hesitated before Koyuki’s plea, leaving the battle unresolved.
Akaza’s attacks weakened as dawn approached, and he left the fight after Haruto stabbed him, escaping into the mountain forest. Haruto and Kyojuro survived but were badly wounded, and the Kakushi rushed to treat them.
Haruto was taken to the Butterfly Mansion after the battle, while Akaza returned to Muzan and was brutally punished for failing to kill the Swordsmen. Muzan spared him, and Akaza chose to go watch fireworks with Koyuki that night.
After recovering from their battle injuries, Kyojuro returned to his duties while Haruto resumed training the young swordsmen at the Butterfly Mansion. Haruto received a new Nichirin Blade from Hotaru Haganezuka, who chased him around the courtyard before calming down over dango.
Haruto recovered from his injuries and prepared to begin rehabilitation while reflecting on Zenitsu’s troubled relationship with his senior, Kaigaku. Elsewhere, Muzan questioned Akaza’s recent behavior and ordered Daki and Gyutaro to kill the Takanashi Family swordsman.
After completing his rehabilitation, Haruto returned to work and received a mission to investigate demons in the Yoshiwara Entertainment District. He agreed to cooperate with Tengen Uzui to eliminate the suspected demon Daki, whose feud with the Takanashi Family had lasted generations.
Tengen Uzui explained his investigation into courtesans disappearing from Yoshiwara and laid out a plan to infiltrate the Entertainment District. He intended to draw attention in public while Haruto searched for the demon, and the group ended with Zenitsu protesting Uzui’s role.
Haruto returned to the Butterfly Mansion and found Tengen Uzui trying to take Aoi Kanzaki on an urgent mission after losing contact with his wives. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke volunteered to go instead, and Tengen prepared to revise the plan before Haruto kicked him away for slapping Aoi.
Haruto posed as a wealthy Kyoto visitor to attract attention in Yoshiwara while Tengen Uzui and the boys searched for demons and Uzui’s wives. The boys spotted a grand oiran procession at Tokito House, and Haruto’s voice came from a nearby balcony.
Haruto posed as a wealthy young gentleman in the Entertainment District while Tengen Uzui sent him and three boys to support the mission after Shinobu refused to involve the Butterfly Mansion girls. Shinobu learned Haruto was drawing attention at a brothel and set out to join him, leaving Kanao to suspect that Shinobu herself was the real danger.
Haruto learned that Suma had run away from Tokito House, but gained no details about her disappearance. Shinobu joined him and proposed that they visit the oiran directly to investigate the demons hidden in Yoshiwara.
Haruto and Shinobu went to Tokito House to meet Koinatsu, whose madam hoped to secure a wealthy marriage for her. Koinatsu met Haruto and the disguised Shinobu, and noticed Haruto’s attention remained fixed on the boy.
Haruto and Shinobu questioned Koinatsu about Suma’s disappearance while investigating whether a demon had been attacking courtesans in the Entertainment District. Koinatsu revealed that Suma had vanished three days earlier, and she suggested there had been few disappearances at Tokito House; her own planned departure from the district had likely fallen through.
Haruto dreamed of Sōma’s last battle against Daki and her brother, then woke to learn Zenitsu had gone missing. Tengen Uzui said they would move that night, and Haruto warned that they faced two demons as Upper Rank Six.
Haruto and the Demon Slayers launched their search for Daki, leading Shinobu Kocho and Tanjiro to confront the Upper Rank Six while Haruto found Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Tengen Uzui's wives underground. The fights were underway as Haruto reached the hollow, where Suma and Makio asked him for help.
Haruto and Inosuke destroyed Daki’s sashes and rescued the people trapped inside them, while Shinobu Kocho fought Daki and learned that poison alone could not defeat her. As Daki transformed and mocked Shinobu, someone shot her head at point-blank range.
Haruto and the Hashira confronted Gyutaro after Shinobu shot off Daki’s head, only for Gyutaro to emerge and restore his sister. Gyutaro revealed himself as Upper Rank Six and attacked, while Tengen Uzui began using Score composition.
Haruto, Tengen Uzui, and Shinobu Kocho fought Gyutaro and Daki, with Haruto using the Transparent World to counter Gyutaro’s attacks. Haruto left Gyutaro’s life in danger as he swung for the demon’s neck, while Gyutaro relied on Daki to keep him from dying.
Tanjiro sent Inosuke and Zenitsu to help Shinobu while Makio and Suma evacuated the civilians, and Haruto and Tengen fought Gyutaro. Haruto beheaded Gyutaro, who regenerated, and Tengen announced that his musical score was complete and he was ready to strike.
Tengen Uzui and Haruto fought Gyutaro while Shinobu Kocho and the three young swordsmen kept Daki occupied. Inosuke beheaded Daki and rushed toward the other battle with her head, leaving Tanjiro to correct his misunderstanding of the plan.
Haruto and Tengen Uzui fought Gyutaro while Inosuke carried Daki’s severed head, but Gyutaro unleashed a wide-area attack and nearly killed Inosuke before Shinobu rescued him. After Gyutaro reunited Daki with her head and Shinobu supplied an antidote, the six swordsmen faced the demons together.
Haruto and Tengen beheaded Gyutaro and Daki, but Gyutaro’s body unleashed a deadly burst of Blood Scythes that devastated the Yoshiwara Pleasure District. As the siblings began to disintegrate, they argued about Takanashi Sōma and their promise to stay together, while Gyutaro recognized that Haruto was nothing like him.
