One look at the young man was enough to tell that he came from high society. Compared with the clothes their family wore, his seemed to belong to another world.

Takeo Kamado tilted his head up and stared at the young man, a little dazed. He had never seen anyone like him before. Timidly, he turned toward his mother, Kie Kamado, who had hurried over behind him. Kie looked at the man before her and asked in confusion, "Excuse me? Who are you? What brings you here?"

Muzan narrowed his eyes at Takeo and Kie Kamado, counting softly under his breath.

"One, two, three... Quite a large family you have here~" As Muzan spoke, he extended a finger. Its nail had not been particularly long, but as he held it out, it rapidly lengthened before their eyes.

An eerie atmosphere suddenly enveloped the entire house. Even Chinatsu, who was cooking in the kitchen, sensed that something was wrong. Her chest felt tight, and her vision began to blur.

Chinatsu set down the kitchen knife, turned in confusion, and walked out of the kitchen. She was about to ask whether something had happened, but the sight outside made her eyes tremble with terror. Her throat felt blocked, leaving her unable to speak.

A seemingly respectable man had pierced her mother's chest. Her younger brothers, Takeo, Mao, and Rokuta, lay on the floor, their bodies drenched in blood.

Chinatsu did not recognize the man. No one in the Kamado Family knew him, nor did they know why he was killing them. Countless questions could have surfaced, but at that moment, all Chinatsu felt was rage.

"What have you done to my family?!!!"

Chinatsu clenched her fists and charged at Muzan. Her body was frail, and she had never been in a fight. Forget fighting a demon-she probably could not even beat a boy younger than herself.

Muzan cast her a contemptuous glance and casually swept his arm at her. A long, wide, deep gash instantly opened across her body.

Chinatsu crashed heavily onto the floor. The pain from her wound left her barely conscious.

Gritting her teeth, she stared at Muzan's increasingly blurred figure, her hatred and fury undiminished.

["Sis, once I grow up, I'll support this family!"]

["Sis, look at my muscles! Pretty impressive, huh? Before long, I should be able to go chop wood with Tanjiro!"]

["Sis, teach me how to make clothes. Winter's almost here, and I want to make more warm clothes for everyone."]

Chinatsu's vision grew increasingly hazy. At last, she closed her eyes and lost consciousness in a pool of blood, until her life came to an end.

Back in the real world, Chinatsu snapped her eyes open and sat up in bed, gasping for breath.

Though she had dreamed this countless times already, it still hurt just as much. The body's original owner's emotions were too intense. Worst of all, the dream was entirely in the first person, even recreating the pain of Muzan's attack.

Still panting, Chinatsu got out of bed. Steadying herself, she walked over to the mirror in Urokodaki's house. Cold sweat trickled down her cheeks. If Tanjiro saw her like this, he would probably think her serious illness had flared up again.

Yet every time she experienced this dream, Chinatsu could feel herself becoming more attuned to this body. Its original owner's memories and emotions were also growing clearer.

"Don't worry. I'll avenge you. I'll protect Tanjiro and Nezuko, too."

Chinatsu took a deep breath and looked into the mirror, which reflected her current appearance.

She looked very much like Nezuko-essentially a more mature version of her, with long reddish-brown hair, eyes that leaned a little more toward red than pink, and an astonishingly large bust...

Chinatsu let out a long, helpless sigh. She looked toward the nearby window. The sun was gradually rising, which meant today's training would soon begin.

The later story of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was so brutal that fans had dubbed it "Hashira Slayer." Hashira was the highest rank in the Demon Slayer Corps, and they were its strongest fighters against demons.

But compared with the Hashira, the demons were far too powerful. A Hashira could defeat a Lower Rank demon, while an Upper Rank Demon could defeat a Hashira just as easily as a Hashira dispatched a Lower Rank demon. That meant bringing down a single Upper Rank Demon came at an enormous cost.

Humans were not like demons. They lacked the demons' extraordinary regenerative abilities, and even after winning, they could still succumb to their injuries.

The Flame Hashira had died from the grievous wounds he suffered fighting Upper Rank Three.

The Sound Hashira had lost an eye and an arm fighting Upper Rank Six.

The Insect Hashira had willingly let Upper Rank Two devour her alive to weaken him.

The Mist Hashira had been cut in half by Upper Rank One during the final battle and bled to death.

The Serpent Hashira and Love Hashira had survived the final battle, but their wounds were too severe to treat, and they had died in each other's arms.

The Stone Hashira had activated the life-consuming "Demon Slayer Mark." Knowing he had little time left, he had left the chance for treatment to others and passed away smiling in the sunlight.

Though the Wind Hashira and Water Hashira had survived, activating the forbidden power of the "Demon Slayer Mark" had left them with little time to live. They would die before turning twenty-five.

Even the protagonist, Tanjiro, had lost sight in one eye and the use of an arm. His romantic partner, Kanao, had also gone blind in one eye, while the vision in her remaining eye had deteriorated so badly that she was practically blind.

Just look at that ending!

Although the author had added a reincarnation arc at the end, that was another life altogether. However wonderful their reincarnated lives might be, they had little to do with their current ones.

Had she transmigrated into the world of Naruto or One Piece, she might have considered keeping her head down until the ending. But in the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, how coldhearted would she have to be to ignore so many tragedies and remain unmoved?

Chinatsu, at least, could not do it.

She would have her revenge, and she would avert those tragedies!

Chinatsu took a deep breath, picked up her practice sword, and hurried out of the wooden house. Just then, the hardworking Tanjiro also emerged from his room, though he was terribly sleepy.

"I still haven't mastered Water Breathing, Tenth Form: Constant Flux. At this rate, Master Urokodaki is definitely going to use his [Bone-Shattering Fist] on me again..."

Urokodaki had once said that if Tanjiro failed to make enough progress, he would break his bones. He had meant it, and he had actually done it.

The worst part was not that he could break someone's bones with a single punch. It was that Urokodaki could not only break bones but also heal them in record time, even making them stronger than they had been before the fracture.

Then Urokodaki could use his "Bone-Shattering Fist" all over again...

Tanjiro shuddered at the thought. Just as he was resolving to train for all he was worth that day, Chinatsu hesitated beside him, then said, "How about I teach you? The Tenth Form."

"Huh? Sis, you've already mastered the Tenth Form?"

"Yes, a long time ago."

"..."
