When Lin Guang woke and opened his eyes, he saw Kanae Kocho's gentle smile.
"You're awake, Guang."
Only then did Lin Guang realize that he was actually lying with his head on Kanae Kocho's lap.
Lin Guang sat up and said, "Sorry, I fell asleep without meaning to."
Kanae Kocho smiled and said, "It's all right. If you like, Guang, you can do this again anytime!"
Lin Guang coughed twice. Faced with such a gentle older sister as Kanae Kocho, he truly didn't dare entertain any ideas.
"Ahem, well, it's already afternoon, right? Shall we go see Shinobu together?"
Hearing this, Kanae Kocho gently shook her head and said, "It's not time yet. Once you're willing to tell Shinobu about yourself, I'll see her then."
Lin Guang respected Kanae Kocho's choice and set the matter aside for now.
"I understand. Then please go back and wait for now, Kanae. If you ever feel bored, I'll bring you out again."
Kanae Kocho smiled faintly, her body gradually turning translucent before she disappeared in front of Lin Guang.
After stretching a little, Lin Guang left the residence and went to the Butterfly Mansion.
Seeing Nezuko playing in the sunlight in the yard, Lin Guang smiled softly. "Being able to walk in the sunlight and feel its warmth is something every demon dreams of."
"Yes. I never imagined a demon could overcome sunlight. Nezuko really is different from other demons."
Shinobu Kocho had appeared behind Lin Guang at some point. Looking at Nezuko in the courtyard, she said wistfully, "If other demons could be as kindhearted as Nezuko, perhaps my sister's wish could come true."
"Hasn't it already come true?"
As soon as Lin Guang finished speaking, Nezuko came up to him and Shinobu Kocho,
