Ch. 761Finding a Goblin to Experiment On

Lin Guang tested whether forcing a Goblin tribe to submit would earn him a Treasure Chest, then questioned the village chief after no reward appeared. He learned nothing about his location yet and left the Goblins awaiting his questions.

  • Lin Guang scanned the area, found a Goblin Tribe nearby, and went to test whether its allegiance would grant him a Treasure Chest.
  • The Goblins confronted Lin Guang, but he overwhelmed them with his aura and demanded that they submit or die.
  • The Goblins knelt and pledged allegiance, but Lin Guang received no Treasure Chest notification.
  • Lin Guang reassured the Goblins, and the village chief offered to answer his questions.
  • Lin Guang asked the village chief where the tribe was and whose territory it occupied.

Ch. 762Pinpointing the Location

Lin Guang named the goblins, earning their allegiance, and ordered Gerudo to lead them toward the Great Jura Forest. He then left with Articuno for the capital of Farmus, while Articuno chose to stay with him; three winged soldiers approached them as they flew.

  • Lin Guang learned the goblin tribe lived between Farmus and Eurazania, then named Gerudo and all the other goblins.
  • The system rewarded Lin Guang with a Silver Treasure Chest after the goblin race pledged allegiance to him.
  • Lin Guang ordered Gerudo to prepare the tribe to migrate to the Great Jura Forest, form Goblin Wolf Riders, and investigate the forest's monster races.
  • Lin Guang freed Articuno from its Poké Ball, explained they were in another world, and let it decide whether to stay or leave.
  • Articuno chose to remain with Lin Guang, who flew west with it toward Farmus; three winged soldiers approached them.

Ch. 763First meeting with a Demon Lord

Lin Guang tried to enter the Heavenly Wings Country, then sneaked into Queen Frey’s palace to learn about the world and the Demon Lords. Frey discovered him and, after questioning his ambitions, told him there were ten Demon Lords, including herself.

  • Heavenly Wings Country’s soldiers barred Lin Guang from entering because he had no wings, so he withdrew and planned to sneak in after nightfall.
  • Lin Guang used the Snake Talisman’s power to enter Queen Frey’s palace unseen, but Frey detected him and attacked with Wind Blades that vanished.
  • Lin Guang introduced himself as an Otherworlder and explained that he had come to learn about the world, while Frey questioned how he had concealed his presence.
  • Frey pressured Lin Guang with her Demon Lord aura, and his calm response led her to suspect he wanted to become a Demon Lord.
  • Lin Guang asked how someone became a Demon Lord and who they were, and Frey declined to name them but said there were ten, including herself.

Ch. 764The Great Jura Forest

Lin Guang reached the Great Jura Forest before Rimuru’s arrival and began planning to unite its monster tribes, starting with the Ogres. A Dryad appeared where he had just been, wondering who he was.

  • Lin Guang left Frey’s palace after learning that the Demon Lords had not yet turned their attention to the Great Jura Forest, and Frey wondered why she had let him go.
  • Lin Guang flew over the Boar’s Head Tribe’s settlements and estimated that famine and an invasion of the forest would begin in three or four months.
  • Lin Guang arrived at the Great Jura Forest, surveyed its inhabitants, and decided to approach the Ogres before the Lizardmen.
  • Lin Guang set out for the Ogre settlement, while the Dryad appeared at the place he had just left and wondered whether he was a lone adventurer.

Ch. 765Ogres

Lin Guang arrived at the Ogre settlement and hired Shion to guide him through the Great Jura Forest toward the Beast Kingdom. After they left, the Ogre Chief grew suspicious of Lin Guang’s power and sent someone to secretly protect Shion.

  • Lin Guang reached the Ogre settlement, where he knocked aside an Ogre who attacked him with an axe.
  • Lin Guang offered the Ogre Chief 110 gold coins to hire a guide and chose Shion for the escort mission.
  • Shion accepted the job, received a 50-coin deposit, and left with Lin Guang toward the Beast Kingdom.
  • The Ogre Chief asked Shuna about Lin Guang, and she sensed that he was a powerful Higher Rank Majin.
  • The Ogre Chief told Benimaru to have his childhood friend secretly follow Lin Guang and protect Shion.

Ch. 766Naming

Lin Guang and Shion traveled through the Great Jura Forest toward Eurazania while Souei secretly followed them. After Lin Guang named Shion, he revealed his strength to Souei and offered help to the Ogres if they faced danger in the future.

  • Lin Guang and Shion crossed the forest, fought monsters, and shared a Cowdeer dinner while Souei watched them from the shadows.
  • Lin Guang explained that he wanted the Ogres to vouch for his passage through the forest, then named Shion and transferred a large amount of energy to her.
  • Souei realized Lin Guang had detected him and emerged from hiding to ask whether Lin Guang knew he was following them.
  • Lin Guang invited Souei to become his subordinate, but Souei refused and guessed that Lin Guang wanted to recruit the Ogres.
  • Lin Guang told Souei he would help the Ogres if they faced a crisis, and Souei agreed to relay the offer to their chief before leaving.
  • Shion asked whether Lin Guang knew her people would face danger, and Lin Guang told her to call him by his name.

Ch. 767Oni

  • Shion evolved from an Ogre into an Oni, gaining greatly increased magicules, and Lin Guang praised her new strength and appearance.
  • Lin Guang told Shion he intended to become a Demon Lord and eventually have the others serve under him; Shion promised to stay by his side as his secretary.
  • Shion demonstrated her enhanced strength by defeating the monsters they encountered as she and Lin Guang traveled toward Eurazania.
  • Lin Guang and Shion camped in the wilderness, where Shion insisted on cooking dinner for him.
  • Lin Guang shut off his senses, coached Shion on cooking, and used the Space Stone to dump each mouthful of her food throughout Clayman's puppet nation.

Ch. 768The Beast Kingdom

Lin Guang entered the Beast Kingdom Eurazania after parting from Shion and Souei at the border. In a village tavern, he began questioning a well-traveled Minotaur proprietor about the kingdom.

  • Souei told Lin Guang that the Ogre chief welcomed his friendship and told Shion she could return to the village whenever she wished.
  • Shion returned to the Great Jura Forest with Souei, while Lin Guang continued toward Eurazania.
  • Lin Guang surveyed the border village and found that most residents were demi-humans, especially Minotaurs, with no beastmen in sight.
  • Lin Guang ordered ale and snacks from the Minotaur tavern proprietor, who guessed that Lin Guang was a foreign noble.
  • Lin Guang offered the proprietor gold coins and asked him to stay and answer some questions.

Ch. 769An unexpected gain

Lin Guang learned about the Beast Kingdom’s divisions and arrived in Raurah, where he followed a group of demi-human children who stole food to support their sick older sister, Aervi. After seeing Aervi cough up blood, Lin Guang believed he had found a way to achieve his goal in the kingdom.

  • Lin Guang learned from a minotaur innkeeper about Demon Lord Carrion’s rule and the difficulty of winning over the Beast Kingdom’s divided peoples.
  • Lin Guang devised a new plan and traveled by carriage to Raurah.

  • Lin Guang secretly followed the children to a poor neighborhood, where they shared their haul with Aervi.
  • Aervi praised the children and warned them to be careful, then coughed up blood and was taken inside to rest.
  • Lin Guang watched Aervi and decided he was close to achieving his goal in the Beast Kingdom.

Ch. 770The Werewolf Girl

Lin Guang investigated Aervi, a former upper-class Werewolf whose family was killed and whose injuries had left her unable to fight. After testing her in a brief confrontation, he decided she could become his subordinate if he healed her, and introduced himself to her.

  • Lin Guang spent half a month observing Aervi and the seven Demi-Human children she had taken in, while learning about her past.
  • Lin Guang visited Aervi's home after the children left for Raurah, and Aervi greeted him with a knife hidden behind her back.
  • Aervi attacked Lin Guang with her dagger and wolf claws, but he caught the dagger and easily evaded her strikes.
  • Aervi stopped fighting and asked Lin Guang who he was and why he had come to see her.
  • Lin Guang confirmed that Aervi's injuries had severely weakened her, then introduced himself as a human named Lin Guang.
  • Aervi felt drawn to Lin Guang after seeing his face and asked what he wanted from her.

Ch. 771Winning her over

Lin Guang offered to heal Aervi in exchange for three years of service, then revealed his overwhelming power to persuade her to join him. Aervi accepted and asked to bring the children in her care, but their conversation was interrupted when the children returned.

  • Lin Guang offered to heal Aervi if she served him for three years.
  • Aervi questioned his motives, and Lin Guang sealed the hut and revealed power that reminded her of a Demon Lord.
  • Aervi accepted Lin Guang's offer and asked him to leave the Bearfolk to her if he conquered the Beast Kingdom.
  • Lin Guang agreed to Aervi's request and invited her to make one additional request.
  • Aervi knelt and asked to bring the children with her, but the door opened as the children returned.

Ch. 772The test

Lin Guang agreed to take in Aervi and the demi-human children, giving them three days to prepare. When he met them outside Raurah, he tested the Kobold child who had threatened him and, impressed by the child's loyalty to Aervi, named him Husky.

  • The demi-human children returned to Aervi's residence, mistook Lin Guang for a threat, and defended her.
  • Lin Guang told Aervi she could bring the children with her and gave her three days to prepare.
  • Three days later, Lin Guang led Aervi and the children toward the forest outside Raurah and confronted the Kobold child who had pointed a stick at him.
  • Lin Guang used Charizard's intimidating presence to pressure the group, then eased the pressure when the Kobold child collapsed.
  • The Kobold child apologized and offered his life to protect Aervi, so Lin Guang named him Husky.

Ch. 773Return to the Great Jura Forest

Lin Guang named Husky, the other Demi-Human children, and Aervi-ya, then used the Horse Talisman to heal Aervi. He brought them to Gerudo’s camp in the Great Jura Forest, where he heard Gerudo’s report and ordered him to gather the tribe’s Goblins and Direwolves.

  • Lin Guang named Husky, Samoyed, Alaska, the other Demi-Human children, and Aervi-ya, who accepted him as her master.

  • Gerudo assembled the Goblins and Direwolves, and Lin Guang announced that Gerudo would manage the newly joined Goblins.
  • Lin Guang spent the afternoon naming more than three hundred Goblins from two tribes.
  • Lin Guang named the Direwolves clan Shadowfang, causing them to evolve into larger, black-furred Shadowfang Direwolves.
  • The system rewarded Lin Guang with three Silver Treasure Chests and one random subordinate summon after he subdued a second race.
  • Gerudo and Aervi organized a celebration, where Lin Guang praised their work and noted that his Goblin numbers had passed five hundred.

Ch. 775Summoning

Lin Guang summoned Kanae Kocho to his private house after subjugating the Goblin Clan and the Direwolves Clan. Kanae woke to find herself beside him, chose to sleep on his chest, and met his eyes again the next morning.

  • Lin Guang used Wood Release to build a private house because he disliked the goblins' buildings.
  • Lin Guang performed a subordinate summon, and Kanae Kocho appeared in a magic circle and fell onto him.
  • The system confirmed Kanae Kocho was his subordinate because he had reconstructed her body and her affection for him had reached MAX level.
  • Kanae Kocho woke on Lin Guang, learned they were in another world, and stayed close to him instead of moving to another room.
  • Kanae Kocho and Lin Guang spent the night together, and they met each other's eyes when she touched his face the next morning.

Ch. 776Getting on track

Lin Guang woke beside Kanae Kocho and explained the monster-filled world and his goal of founding a monster nation equal to the Human Empire. He gathered his subordinates, whose evolutions showed how his growing power was changing them.

  • Kanae Kocho woke Lin Guang, asked him to explain the world, and changed into clothes from his alternate space.
  • Aervi-ya told Lin Guang that naming her had evolved her into a Frost Wolf Tribe member and granted her ice powers.
  • Lin Guang introduced Kanae Kocho to the goblin camp and explained his plan to establish a monster nation on equal footing with the Human Empire.
  • Kanae Kocho said she would help Lin Guang pursue his dream, recalling her own wish for humans and demons to coexist.
  • Aervi-ya brought Gerudo and the evolved demi-human children to Lin Guang, and they all knelt before him.

Ch. 777Planning

Lin Guang used his newly acquired Appraisal skill to inspect his followers, assigned responsibilities, and planned the goblin village’s development. After moving the village near a water source between the Ogre tribe and the Lizardmen’s wetlands, he decided it was time to visit Veldora and Rimuru.

  • Lin Guang acquired Appraisal and inspected Gerudo, Shadow Fang, Aervi-ya, and Husky, learning what abilities they possessed.
  • Lin Guang ordered Gerudo to develop the village and accept suitable recruits, assigned Shadow Fang to work with him, and put Aervi-ya in charge of the armed forces.
  • Lin Guang told Gerudo to find villagers suited to useful work and gave him three books about clothing, food, and housing, warning that he would not support freeloaders.
  • Lin Guang moved the goblin village west to a water source between the Ogre tribe and the Lizardmen’s wetlands, and the villagers spent two months relocating and renovating it.
  • Lin Guang decided it was time to visit Whirlwind Dragon Veldora and Rimuru.

Ch. 778First encounter with Rimuru

Lin Guang and Kanae Kocho explored the sealed cave, gathering resources and fighting monsters before finding Rimuru eating herbs by an underground lake. Lin Guang hurried away with Kanae toward Whirlwind Dragon Veldora, leaving Rimuru wondering whether humans were nearby.

  • Lin Guang opened a rift into the sealed cave and entered with Kanae Kocho, who suggested they find Rimuru first.
  • Lin Guang used [Predator] to collect rare ores and herbs, then froze a blackwater giant python while Kanae Kocho observed the cave’s powerful monsters.
  • Lin Guang let Kanae Kocho defeat the monsters they encountered as they traveled deeper into the cave.
  • Lin Guang used the Space Stone to pass through a chained wooden door and found Rimuru eating Hipokute Herbs beside an underground lake.
  • Kanae Kocho asked whether the Slime was Rimuru, and Lin Guang grabbed her hand and rushed toward Whirlwind Dragon Veldora’s seal.
  • Rimuru paused while eating and wondered whether he had heard a girl’s voice and encountered humans.

Ch. 779Veldora and the Slime

Lin Guang and Kanae Kocho met the sealed Whirlwind Dragon Veldora, then helped a newly arrived Slime gain sight and speech. The Slime discovered Veldora and panicked, but Lin Guang reassured it that the dragon could not escape.

  • Lin Guang and Kanae Kocho found Veldora sealed behind a barrier and confirmed his identity.
  • A Slime crashed into the barrier, and Lin Guang taught it [Magic Sense] so it could see.
  • Lin Guang gave the Slime Magic Beast corpses to devour, allowing it to gain skills and learn to speak.
  • Kanae Kocho played with the Slime, which blushed and called her big sister.
  • The Slime noticed Veldora, panicked at the sight of the dragon, and Lin Guang caught it and said Veldora could not get out.

Ch. 780Friends

The Slime met Lin Guang, Kanae Kocho, and the sealed Whirlwind Dragon Veldora, and they shared how they had arrived in this world. After hearing Veldora explain his past, the group agreed to become friends, and Veldora offered to name the Slime in exchange for a name of its own.
