Early the next morning, Pakunoda picked up the identification documents Shalnark had sent.

Pakunoda returned to the room to join the others, and the four Spiders prepared to leave without a word.

Hearing their utterly irresponsible plan, A Luo found herself at a loss for words.

She felt so sorry for those two pretty receptionists.

If the guests skipped out on the bill... would their wages get docked for it?

Seeing her expression, Feitan deliberately lowered his voice and said viciously:

"So you want us to walk straight out the hotel's front door, A Luo? And kill everyone who tries to stop us? Wonderful! I haven't heard a pretty woman scream in ages!"

A Luo: "..."

So paying never even crossed your minds?

After hearing Feitan's words, A Luo hurriedly pushed them along, urging them again and again:

"Come on, come on. Let's do what you said and slip away quietly, or we'll miss our flight."

Sorry, pretty receptionists.

Your lives matter more than money. These Spider big shots aren't people you can afford to provoke, so losing a little money to avoid disaster is a good thing, right?

But once they left the hotel and arrived at the airport...

Machi looked at the bustling crowd in the ticket hall and abruptly asked:

"Who's buying the tickets?"

Pakunoda:

"Anyone except the boss."

Feitan:

"What's there to discuss? If you don't want to go, I'll do it!"

Looking at the screen above the hall, Chrollo read aloud with a perfectly straight face:

"One airship ticket to Heavens Arena costs sixty-three thousand Jenny. Half price for minors. So, Feitan, how many Jenny do we need for tickets for all of us, including A Luo?"

Feitan counted on his fingers for ages, then suddenly let loose a wave of murderous intent and snapped impatiently:

"Kill the ticket seller and take the tickets!"

Machi, standing beside him, gave him a cold roll of her eyes:

"Feitan, you really are an impulsive idiot!"

Furious, Feitan began unleashing malicious Nen at Machi.

The passersby around them immediately felt an overwhelming pressure and kept their distance, leaving a huge empty space in the crowded ticket hall.

Pakunoda pressed a hand to her forehead helplessly:

"No fighting between members. Feitan, rein in your Nen."

Then she looked at Chrollo, hoping he would make a decision.

Unfortunately, Chrollo chose that exact moment to turn his gaze on A Luo:

"A simple math problem like this shouldn't be beyond you, should it? A Luo, I'll leave the tickets to you."

And so, the little girl beside them could only accept the stack of Jenny Machi handed her with trembling hands.

Off she marched to the ticket-buying front line, head high and spirits soaring!

But why were they going to Heavens Arena, anyway?

While pondering the Spiders' intentions, A Luo looked at the constantly scrolling information in the ticket hall.

An economy-class ticket cost sixty-three thousand Jenny.

A business-class ticket cost one hundred and sixty-six thousand Jenny.

Both were half price for minors.

A Luo quickly counted the Jenny Machi had given her. There were roughly three hundred and thirty-five thousand Jenny, just enough for one half-price business-class ticket and four economy-class tickets.

This was the best-value combination!

Yep, I really am a little math genius.

After buying the tickets, Lola walked back, deeply proud of her calculation skills, which left every Spider in the dust.

When she reached the Spiders, she held up the tickets with a brilliant smile.

Now you know, you lot!

I might be useless in a fight, but I can be pretty useful in plenty of other situations.

Once they boarded the airship, A Luo took her identification and ticket and headed straight for business class. Naturally, the Spiders followed her.

A moment later, an airship attendant stopped all four Spiders.

The Spiders looked utterly baffled.

Pakunoda pointed at A Luo and asked the attendant:

"Why can't we go in? She just went through, didn't she?"

The attendant smiled. "Ma'am, your daughter has a business-class ticket. Naturally, she's entitled to all our business-class services, while you and your companions have economy-class tickets. Please follow the rules and take your assigned seats. Thank you for your cooperation."

Pakunoda was speechless. "..."

Machi gave a cold sneer.

Feitan shot A Luo a murderous look.

Chrollo, meanwhile, wore an unnerving smile.

Only then did A Luo realize just what kind of mistake she had made.

When buying tickets for the Spiders, the point was obviously comfort, not some damned bargain!

If she hadn't had enough Jenny, she should have asked Pakunoda for more... instead of buying herself a business-class ticket while putting the big shots in economy!

A Luo: "..."

Realizing she had messed up, the little girl immediately tried to explain to the four people outside the business-class entrance:

"Boss, Pakunoda, Machi, Feitan, let me explain!"

Not one of the Spiders acknowledged her. With icy faces, they turned and walked away without hesitation.

Left with that outcome, Lola could only lower her head and make her way nervously to her business-class seat.

Once she reached business class, curiosity chased away her fear, and she couldn't help looking around.

She couldn't help it. This was A Luo's first time experiencing business class in either of her lives.

Naturally, she couldn't resist touching this and pressing that.

Fifteen minutes later, the airship took off.

Yet none of the passengers seated in front of, behind, or on either side of A Luo had shown up!

What's going on?

All the tickets in this section seemed to have been sold when I bought mine!

Buying such expensive tickets and then not using them is such a waste!

A moment later, the Spiders swaggered up from behind and plopped into the seats surrounding A Luo.

A Luo was astonished:

"Boss, what are you doing here?"

Chrollo:

"What do you think?"

A Luo shrank back. The heavy hint of bloodshed in Chrollo's tone frightened her out of asking anything else.

But being surrounded by Spiders felt rather ominous. Being surrounded by Spiders brimming with murderous intent was worse than a nightmare.

"Everyone, I need to explain! Really, please let me explain..."

"Who wants to hear your explanation?!"

With a savage grin, Feitan enveloped A Luo's entire body in malicious Nen.

On top of that, Chrollo was sitting to A Luo's right. She had no idea what he had done, but Lola could only sit there, unable to speak or move, enduring the crushing weight of Feitan's malicious Nen.

Faced with that immense pressure, which felt as though it would grind her into dust...

A Luo's survival instincts kept screaming at her to run!

But under Chrollo's control, she couldn't command her own body. She could only remain silent and motionless.

It was like watching a massive boulder bear down on her, about to destroy everything in an instant.

Being able to do nothing but watch was quite a thrill!

A thrill indeed!

Tormented by Spiders Number One and Two, Lola broke out in a cold sweat almost instantly and felt as if her pounding heart was about to burst.

What do I do?

Can anyone save me?

Please, can someone come save me?

Perhaps heaven had heard A Luo's plea.

Or perhaps a passing attendant sensed that something wasn't right.

As an excellent business-class attendant, she naturally had to provide her passengers with attentive care, so the beautiful attendant approached and asked:

"Sweetie, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
