Saitama indignantly condemned Josen for secretly making himself taller.
Chop, chop, chop, chop...
The rhythmic sound of chopping vegetables resumed in the kitchen.
A little later, it was time for breakfast.
During their idle conversation, Genos looked up in surprise. "Huh? Mr. Josen, you want to meet the doctor?"
"Yes." Eating the sandwich Genos had lovingly prepared especially for him, Josen nodded. "There are some things I'd like to discuss with him."
"If it's you, I'm sure there won't be a problem," Genos said after a moment's thought. "Besides, the doctor has repeatedly mentioned wanting to meet you and Master Saitama!"
"Then let's split up today." Josen finished his sandwich and eyed the one on Saitama's plate. Detecting the danger, Saitama whisked his plate away from a certain someone at lightning speed. "You two go take the Hero exam. I'll visit Dr. Kuseno in a bit."
Saitama stuffed the rest of his sandwich into his mouth and said with bulging cheeks, "Huh? You're not coming with us, Josen?"
"Oh, isn't having Genos with you enough?" Josen ate another sandwich that Genos had thoughtfully brought over. "Besides, I've got other things to do."
Saitama nodded. "I see. Then go take care of your stuff."
"Mr. Josen, the doctor's research institute is on the outskirts of City W. I'll send the exact location to your phone shortly." A metal ID card popped out of Genos's arm, and he handed it to Josen. "I've already contacted the doctor through an encrypted channel and informed him of your visit. Just bring my pass, and you'll be able to go straight in."
"Dr. Kuseno is a peace-loving scientist, but strict security measures have been set up around the institute to protect him. I hope you understand."
"All right."
Josen took it, saw
