At a cliff overlooking all of Demon Wolf Castle, the King of the Underworld, like his original self, enjoyed sitting for long stretches on a large blue boulder.
He wore an embroidered black robe, with only one demon sword hanging at his waist: Slay Gods and Demons.
His original self had taken Sōunga and the Nether Thunder Blade into the Underworld, but for his avatar, the King of the Underworld, Slay Gods and Demons alone was enough.
By now, numerous powerful materials had been fused into Slay Gods and Demons, including the bones of White Tiger and a kirin.
This demon sword possessed many powers: Adamant Barrage from the diamond essence, the ice powers of the Ice Wolf King and his three sons, and the evil energy of numerous yokai and Sōunga.
The Greater Yokai powers of Fūzetsuga and Kir inmaru were also within Slay Gods and Demons. Hairinbō had exhausted every ounce of his skill to gather all these powers into the sword without upsetting its balance.
In the process, however, Hairinbō's swordsmithing had reached new heights, and his strength had improved considerably as well.
With Slay Gods and Demons alone, a yokai could fight a Greater Yokai. Such was its power, enough to rank it among the mightiest yokai weapons in the Demon World.

Chongli suddenly appeared three meters behind the King of the Underworld. He dropped to one knee, a trace of sorrow on his face, and raised his head slightly as he said:
"Lord King of the Underworld, Princess Izayoi has passed away."
At this, the King of the Underworld lifted his gaze slightly. His pitch-black eyes remained unruffled, though a hint of melancholy crossed his face, and he sighed softly:
"Human lives really are so short."
Time
